You probably have a low pressure cyclinder. If you have the money change the cyclinder to a main pressure one and shower will never be the same again :bounce: :bounce: I got so sick of mine that I finally install an instant gas hot water system and ne ver run out of hot water or have problem with low pressure again. Best of all I got the plumber to bring the pipe to the fishroom too. Hook it up to a shower mixer and adjust the water temp for waterchange :bounce: :bounce: . Now I don't have to heat up the water in barrels anymore

It's common with fighters having big tail like VT and HM. The tail will just grow back with good quality water conditions. It could be poor water conditions or stress that cause them to bite off the tail. After keeping fighters for 20 odd years, i've come to the conclusion that they are a very smart fish. The big tail is restricting their movement so they bite it off in order to move more freely :roll: . I say that because it doesn't happen to the plakat or the female. After all those years of keeping them, I still can't find a fighter whisperer to communicate with them to find out what is the real reason behind all this tail bitting :lol: :lol: ron

Don't know why they're call cloudy but it look clear to me in the bottle. Whether you can use it or not i'm not certain on that.

If money is not a problem get the 250 ml. You don't need the carbon so take it out. Put the purigen at the top tray . Cover the top tray with a layer of filter wool (buy a mtr and cut to size yourself).

Is the fish scrapping against objects? If not and everything is normal then I wouldn't lose sleep about it.

I would also get rid of the bioball and replace it with the proper sintered (spelling) glass media. Agreed with Freakyfish on using Purigen. It will polish your water and make it crystal clear. ron
