I think you worry too much. You'll have to create surface movement or keep the air pump on 24/7 so you don't stress the fish and yourself out. Once there is bio load in the tank the PH will drop. Give the tank time to settle and cycle.
I wouldn't go and adjust the PH. It's not going to kill the fish.
They can feed on brine shrimp as soon as they go free swimming. Feed 4-5 times a day and daily waterchanges and the frys will grow really quick.
What goldfish are you breeding Stu?
cheers,

What fighters are you trying to get crossing a plakat with a CT? Looks like a waste of time and effort which could be better spent breeding pure bred fighters.
I wouldn't suggest putting Furan2 in a fridge or anywhere near food.
Please Read The Label and Safety Precausions Carefully
If it is fungus why not use methalene blue!
how long have the tank been set up, how big is the tank and how many and what types of fish is in there?
could be caused by the following:
overfeeding, under filtration, algea cells floating in water
try doing more waterchange.
Congrat David for being a father to a beautiful princess born this morning :bounce: :bounce:
Glad that both mom and bubba are doing fine.
I suppose the halfmoon fighters will have to take a back seat now

If you know which one are the parents then you should set up a breeding tank and have a go.
A good size tank is a 60cmx45x45. You'll also need a heater and a sponge filter and patience
