Barrie
nice depth on #4 and #5 To be honest, Im not keen on #1 though as the depth isnt as great so it tends to detract Only my ideas and thoughts of course
supasi
Wow, Fantastic images! What gear are you using? Thanks I have a Canon 550D. These were taken using 100mm macro lens. I love it. Today was the first time I got to go outside and really play with it.nice depth on #4 and #5 To be honest, Im not keen on #1 though as the depth isnt as great so it tends to detract Only my ideas and thoughts of course 4 and 5? There are only 4 pictures Barrie. LOL My fav is the ant with the fly. I took nearly 50 shots just to get one that looked ok. It was hard with such a narrow DOF and its fast movements. I appreciate all comments and critiques. It all goes to help me take better photos.
Jennifer
Well done Simon, insects are full of detail so make good subject matter but they not always so easy to get in focus when if they are fast movers!

supasi
Remote flash would be awesome I reakon. One day I will get one. I used the sun to back light that flower. Just a shame that I cut the top off the flower. Orchids are neat flowers to photograph. Just a shame I dont have any nearby. I may have to take a trip up to the local botanic gardens.
