If you have readings of ammonia, more water changes would be in order then if this doesn't resolve the issue you'd have to see what else could be causing it. Sorry, not familiar with your filter so cannot comment on that! Caper

Nope, personally I can't say I have seen this before but maybe someone else has. Have you checked your water parameters? How long has this "thing" been on the fish? Is it the only fish with it and does it just have the one? Caper

For white spot: -remove any carbon as it will remove the meds -treat as the directions say -I don't exactly remember how the treatment I used worked but I do know that you do have to treat the tank for a period of time after the spots are no longer visible on the fish Caper
