When I had the trouble with my fish (not my goldfish) flashing I used "Parasite Clear" tablets. I can't recall the directions at present, but the treatment worked. One platy in particular was not good at all, thought I was going to loose him...but he pulled through. How often are you doing water changes? Have you tested the water?

Post the pic...it doesn't sound like Ich (whitespot)...whitespot looks like salt was shaken on the fish. You say, white marks...uh...like patches, are they fluffy looking?

Thank you I've just put towels over the top of the tanks...that should be ok do you think? Or do I need to cover them with something else?

Way to go Donna Are the silver sharks the ones the have black on the edge of their fins? Over a foot long...tisk tisk...YOU WILL have to get another tank when they grow...ahhhhhhhh

It is a household cleaner/disinfectant. Precautions are the usual...ah...eye irritant (if gets in eyes), harmful if swallowed, keep out of reach of children. Has the "Danger Poison" symbol on front of bottle. The only thing I can see it contains is 15% pine oil. When I start cleaning the downstairs should I cover the tanks?

What is the fish in the fourth pic? I thought a cichlid, but is it a Killie? How do you distinquish killies? ALAN, you're the expert on killies aren't you??? It sure is pretty! Great job Shae, the fish are awesome!
