No pics of they Keys sorry and eggs all gone.They are still guarding their nest and none is allowed near it so they must have eaten them. Mystic I did manage to snap my Geo how do I post the pic here?

Cheers for the apt discriptions. They are in a community tank so if the young get to the feeding stage what would be best? I have new to all this.

My Keyholes have just made a nest and laid some eggs.What will happen next?

Hi-I have 4 in with 3 Geo Surimenisis and they all get on well.Came home last night and a pair have dug a nest and laided some eggs.They are now the bossess of the tank defending their nest. My big geo is 5x their size but she is respecting the Keyholes space. They are neat fish-also have a school of neons and emerald eye tetras in the same tank.

If you could do full system for $100 I'd be in!

To get ph up to 8 I did the salt,bicarb and epsom thing once.Then a couple of weeks latter added a couple of chunks of coral(which fish love)and ph has stayed at 8 even with water changes.

Currently using Blue Circle Whitespot Cure and it says 2drpos per litre which seems like heaps for a 120ltr tank?Also is there an easier way to measure it?

I put a couple of Bristal noses in my tank and what a great job they did-within 3 days all the rocks were polished! Do I need to feed them something special now all the algae is gone?

Back to square one-looks like the aggressor can go back to the shop,hate doing it but at least its a fish only not a pet shop.Thanks for all the input.

Aurutums?Think thats them-I have 3 of them in the malawi tank and one of them is the boss all right.

Water is ph8 in other tank so too high the bullied fish escaped his safe haven and his mate is now leaving him alone-must have missed him and decided hes ok.

I think they are both female,if it carries on I may have to take it back to fish shop,my other geos S are both girls but the weaker one handles being harassed and not to the same scale.It seems Geos of the same sex don't get on.

Hes in a 140 ltr tank and only his mate is picking on him,other types are fine.Lots hiding holes but his mate finds him.At the moment the picked on fish is floating in a plastic culinder to give him some rest and the bully can't see him but keeps hanging by the culinder.Mean bugger.

Maybe I should have just asked if Americans are ok with Malawis?
