I'm glad you have a life Shae it will give you something to fill your time in with when you can no longer get the fish you want, sometimes sacrafices have to be made by individuals to help others , this was a chance to do that for not only the current fishkeepers but for the generations to come. And as for my feeling I'm feeling very tired after putting in at least three 1am finishes but i also feel happy knowing i have done my bit.
Shae , what a great attitude , its people thinking like you that will kill the hobby in new zealand, hope it makes you feel good, others have been bending over backwards to do as much as they can to help, why not you ?
Those have been done Shae, i've done those and sent them in along with a number of others that have not been updated on the list yet , so as Mystic says Ask Warren
there are a few doing all they can to help with this and good on you all ,but i just noticed there 1450 members on this site , 1450 people who bothered to find this place and sign up to look learn and more than likely be helped by others , if they all did 3 pictures each imagime !! all would be done! makes you think huh
If Warren has only got 100 ID's in with less than a week to go we should all be ashamed
Convicts are real easy to breed but you won't make money off them as no one wants them or already have far too many , maybe something like Kribensis would be a nice starter for breeding its a quite cichlid or a liverbear maybe
Hi alan , i managed to get a hold of four , not sure there is a pair yet as they are pretty young and no signs of a female getting fat ., fingers crossed
No Ira completly differant , hard to discribe but if you saw the two with each other it would be obvious there differant. these guys have much larger and fewer spots
Hi Guys
I have these Danio's which i was pretty sure was a spotted Danio, but both myself and Kevin Rowe have tried to ID it in a book and the closest i can find is the "Danio Nigrofasciatus or what they call the spotted Danio, mine lack the fixed blue line through the centre of the fish ...any ideas ?
All the fry were eaten by Mam & Dad , i had to let them have a go at being good parents and they did seem like they were doing a good job, oh well next time they come out the tank as soon as the babies are wrigglers.
mine were about 9 months when i got my first batch of eggs , i had 2 males and 5 females in my tank but only one of each is needed. Give them somewhere dark and safe, with no preditors , feed them well and they will do the rest , pretty much the same as your standard bristlenose
not sure , i got 4 spotted danios the other day and want to give those guys a go , i've done the zebra and Lepoard danios so assume these guys breed the same way but not sure of the sex of my new ones , got to condition them first
Hi
These guys kept getting moved aroud the tank by Mam & Dad this leaf is there 3rd home but they seem to be taking good care of them, saw this morning one fell off the leaf and mam cought it and spat it back onto the leaf
