  7. thanks for that Winston , i've takes the eggs still on the stone and placed it in a free tanks with air bubbles floating near the stone to give some circulation, fingers crossed , the pair must have also killed the thrid golden ram i had so its all down to these two now
  8. Quick advice needed : I've just noticed my golden rams have layed a heap of eggs on a stone i put in for them, there in a tank with justa pair od angels which i've seperated with a devider so there safe from the angels but what about the parents ??? Are Rams good parents should i leave them in there or move the rock with the eggs on it ? , the fry would swimm through the devider so its just a temp to stop the angels eating the eggs , but what should i do ?? all advice greatfully accepted
  9. Just to let you know , we followed some great advice tonight and cought a malawi cichlid from our chiclid tank that had babies in its mouth and Stu you were spot on!! I carefully opened her mouth head down and out they swam, a total of 13 quite large fry, some dark and some light but all fairly large, if they had come out in the tank they would not have stood a chance , so again Stu , Thanks there is still a couple in there but we don't want to stress the mother any more so we have left them with her, maybe they have more room to grow , who knows but at least we saved these 13
  10. No your temp is fine how many fish did you add at once and did you treat the water with an ager (Aquaplus) to get the colrine out before you added the fish . This seems much more likely the course of the fishy deaths than the temp.
  11. I've lost two adult B/n the same way , just an inch gap for the hoses and out they went , found on the floor , too late
  12. Great to see 6 others with at least as many tanks as me Not sure if it makes me feel like I'm at least semi normal or i need to buy more tanks and have a 35+ section ...lol
