Just moving my last batch of swordtail fry to a larger tank space ,anyone care to count , i was going crazy trying let me know what you come up with

I managed to fish out some babies from my 700L tank, theres are about 12 in here and at least the sme still in the tank i will leave with the parents but last time not many survived the other fish in there so wanted to save some myself this time.

Hi My big red fighter sadly is no longer with us but here is one of his sons, another is very much like his dad, but this guy is showing some very interesting colour as well as great fin shape

I think that albino male has gone from the hutt pets , i went looking for him today , i know the people who took him in there as he was aggresive in there tank but i was hopeing to home him , too slow

nothing wrong with boiling Alan just though of this and thought would give it a try, Marbles were under water and zapped till water boiled and had no problems and was like a double whammy , zapped and boiled

I agree Bill Marbles are not the the ideal answer in this case ( they did work perfect with breeding danios's), but the experiment with microwaving the marbles HAS seemed to have worked no sign of any snails in the tank there in now . Was just worth a try and my help others 8)

Hi Yes i have both ( small sized ) and there is very little between them only thing with the small aquaone is the bowed front which I'm not too keen on. Would say both are fine and happy with mine.

Hi We just spent a holiday in Oz and had to do the local fish shops and i must say they had some really nice guppies, cichlids and heaps of fighters but i really hated the way they keep them in the shops in smal jars and sometimes even with inserts in the jars to put plants in totally blocking clean air to the fish , resulting in more than one dead fighter , i got in a bit of bother in one shop for pulling all the plant inserts out they was some really nice fighters tho

I've ran a blob of snail eggs under running hot water and it does bot seem to do anything , if its safe i might just give it a go might wait a little to get a few more thoughts on it :-?

Can you microwave marbles to kill snail eggs? seems like a strange question but i use marbles to protect the eggs for egg scatterers from the parnents and somehow got snails in that tank, its almost impossable to clean every single marble one at a time to get all the eggs off so thought of this as an way off killing them all easy , :-? Has anyone tried it ? do you think it would work and is it safe to zap marbles ? :roll:
