I've bred black neons before, very fun. Best to seperate the male and female for 2 weeks and feed them on live and frozen foods. Then put them together in a well planted tank and put some peat in too (boil some up in a pot then let it cool and strain it in). The parents will spawn the next morning. Remove them after spawning. Keep tank dark for 72 hrs. Feed fry liquifry/infusoria then baby brine shrimp. Goodluck

In the Amazon there's mainly the odd piece of wood and even fewer rocks. Discus like to hang out amongst fallen trees or tree roots extending down into the river for protection. Didn't Antwan do a biotype ages ago that looked really good?
