  1. you can starve them??? or you can do what we did at primary school when we used to have contests on who could eat the most worms?? and theyd win a lollipop which was alot to me then, and grab them from the top get you thumb and index finger and run it down the worm tightly, it sqeezes out all the dirt and poo! cheers Shae

  6. usually id just stick my driftwood in the bath with boiling ht water! then id dril sme holes on the under side and put lead weights in because i culdnt b bothered waiting weeks for the wood 2 becme water logged s that it wuldnt float!! Cheers shae

  9. a very big Congradulations to you! from my knowlege very few ppl have breed seahorses succecfully in captivity! i no that the marine biology place in wellington pride themselves on the fact that they have very high success rates!! Cheers Shae
  10. most plants! i have my livebearers in brakish water and the plants grow like wild fire! wet pets has alot of big puffers to different types the striped buble bees and the polka dot puffers! for under $10 ea!! oh and they keep them in with disucss also cheers Shae
  11. well i did keep discuss with them! cuz they didtn get pushed round! i would suggest some large cichlids if you must put something with them! cheers Shae
  12. there not very good communtiy fish!! tend to be queit aggressive! and i never had mine in any silinity jst plain water!

  20. to do that you'd have to have a whole tone of virgin ofspring and that is very hard! i im almost 100% sure that that is all a munch of hoohaa! i ave nver read ay facts about it only heard ppl saying things like that on the internet! i have been breeding livbearers for a while now and have never had this happen!   24. im pritty sure that thats a myth peg! about them changing sex! another way of telling whether or not your livebearer is going to drop, is to look at her at night before you feed her as they tend to get a bit blouted after being fed! from the back she should look squarish! that means that she has pushed the fry to her vent as they are soon to be relised! most fish breed inthe early hours of the day! so if you see these signs put her in a trap etc! and bye the morning you should have babies!
