For those of you who think livebearers involve four species mollie,platy,guppy and swordtail, you are very wrong there are numerous different types i will just name a few for you. Characodon audax Goodeids Xiphophorus variatus Brachyraphis holdridgei Gambusia affinis otherwise known as Western Mosquitofish Heterandria formosa otherwise known as Dwarf Livebearer others include: Xiphophorus clemenciae-which is basically a very coulourful swordy with and extremly long sword Xiphophorus multilineatus- in my opinion one of the most beautiful livebearers, it is small and commonly in an exqusid aqua colour with a diagonal tail starting small at the top and angeling out to become longer at the bottom Halfbeaks- i think there has been a post somwer before of what these livebearers look like, they have a long slim body and a pointed long pointed snout, commomly are not very colourful but have blue eyes Porachraphis rosnithae Zoogenectes quitzeonsis Cheers Shae

maf, i think r a bit strict, the haslte of trying to bring new species or good qaulity fish into nz is more then its worth!

not anymore, not after all the mistakes i made and glass i brock, ive got enough left to make a 5 foot tank, but i think leave it a few days let my hands heal after all the cuts for thre glass, i think ill make a 3foot and another 2 foot, lol, not sure what im going to use them fore but neva the less, can neva have ot many tanks, just not enough electricy to power them,lol Cheers Shae
