Big filter for a big tank. -
In the weekends I went to Te Manawa Museum in Palmerston North to see their 5000 litre native aquarium. Pics: Nice common bully Redfin bully Another Common Giant kokopu (wouldn't stop moving) Male common I think? Another beautiful Redfin Common Giant kokopu (middle) Shortjaw kokopu (bottom left) Common Huge common I was annoying I couldn't get a pic of any of the banded kokopu because they were to fast but as you can see its a beautiful tank.

I don't think they can live permanently in freshwater.

Imo you should rehome the puffer as it will attack the other fish sooner or later.

I don't have sand in the 350lt but I will in the 680 litre. I have noticed them trying to pick up rocks.

While I was in Rotorua I went to Wonderworld pet centre and bought two Geophagus steindachneri to go in my 350 litre tank and eventually into the 680 litre.

New canister filter today, no more ugly internal filters.

A bit of an update: I have moved the the bullies into a slightly larger 60x30x35 (LxHxW) 63 litre tank. I've also managed to keep the temp under 20C using slicker pads and a cooling fan.

I have those but I don't like them. Thanks I have java moss. Yep its a community tank.
