Went fishing with bennyboynz and saw koura, common bullies and shortfin eels.

I am keen to purchase the following Silver Dollar that has been for sale on trade me for a very long time. It looks good and my new tanks i large enough to give it a new safe home. http://www.fnzas.org.nz/?page_id=1529 It depends on what safety factor you are ok with. 10mm glass would give you a safety factor of around 1.5

Gee bullies have large mouths.My 10cm common swallowed a cube of lamb heart today.

Yeah, it must of jumped out overnight.I did have a lid but it got out the feeding holes on the the betta duo tank.

You could just keep on the look out for two cheap tanks that aren't cracked.

Your local glazier should have glass that will suit your needs.

My Dad wants to see natives in this tank aswell but I'm definitely having silver dollars it.

You can silicone A bit of glass over it like this: See at the bottom where those extra bits of glass are.
