black percs would be called onyx and still have a little orange on them the completly black with white stripes are black occellaris, i've had my eye out for a year now but no luck. the black clowns that most people have will be black saddle back clowns (polymnus) they are alot bigger than percs and more territorial. shouldnt be hard to get a pair of marrons

does anyone else have a durso that goes straight down from the hole in the tank into the sump?? i think this might be part of the problem

it already is using the size bigger than the hole (hole is 25mm and the standpipe is 32mm)

my durso seems to make a huge amount of bubbles, does anyone have any idea on how to cut that down???

yip i plan on that as well. why is it them that people say they have pH problems when using calcium reactors.

there are alot of people in the states making faux sandbeds out of diferent epoxys and sand i would rather just have a bit of sand

i thought that the pH can potentially go alot lower than is safe.

First Question is what method do you use to keep the pH stable I know alot of people drip kalk top off water at night, do those of you that use this method use a timer on a pump ect??? just trying to figure out the easiest method of control and topoff.

i would never consider that a good options for the tank or myself, i guess some people would do it so that people will think they are cool. i have nothing against deep/big tanks but whats wrong with a stick or making a really big pair of tongs :roll:

first progress is that ideal electrical in hamilton deal in EYE lighting products (ie they can get what i want) so price will now be the issue and also the housing for the bulb which needs to look stylish for the wife ( not like my current ghetto setup)

wel you've obviously got the internet still so there is plenty of information on her already. i suggest a specific search in the saltwater forum with the key work cycle or new tank etc

that is a very general question, i suggest doing some reasearch on cycling in marine tanks etc there are a few posts on here and many articles and resources easily accessible via google
