  2. thats a nice looking anemone, the tank looks a bit empty but most peoples tank do at the moment (mine is empty to an extreme)
  3. isnt instant ocean made by aquarium systems or something similar??
  4. is the dark part on the inside of the green monti alive???
  5. has the recession on the green monti stopped?? looks promising
  6. depends on the price really. personally i would just make the voyage to the beach if i was that close, or borrow some buckets, or give some money to cracker to use his trailer of fun
  7. white spot will not kill the corals, poor water conditions will
  8. i think you need a bigger tank fay  its looking great, and the anemones are very big too
  9. oh well just have alook on here http://www.das-korallenriff.de/wissenswertes/interzoo04.htm
  10. bugger. cant get that one to work, yes there the inside is a tank, not a very nice one but still a tank
  11. het wasp i think this is a more appropriate way to show case your corals
  12. i tried but the link to the article and pics didnt work for me
  13. wasp thats probably the worst way ive yet seen to display a tank.. that tank up above is some italian guys that doses the growth homones or something Marco Rossi or something like that i think its somewhere on www.acquaportal.it i got a pm from a guy on there yesterday that knew someone that moved to NZ 5 years ago and wondered if i knew him.
  14. no the salinity change will kill the white spot, but your putting it straight back into a tank full of it. with a fish that is even more stressed
  15. yoink, thats a pretty drastic move. hope it turns out ok as a fresh water bath can be very stressfull even though it my show initial signs of improvement be very aware that it will more than likely be back in full force again
  16. i think we need a advice notice at the top of the forum advising people not do perform nitrate tests while driving. thats quite a remarkable result, the uv is the only thing you have changed in that period correct??
  17. im pretty sure whitespot wont affect an anemone but a temp spike might stess it out causing it to die, i would be more worried about the die off of the anemone than the white spot, good water changes and carbon lots of carbon
  18. any chance of a pic of the fish??
  19. so anyway. if it were a bad infestation then i say medicate, but the occasional spot isnt anything to worry about
  20. nuclear warfare??? or is that how they where created?? Joes juice is good but because you still dont have anything in the tank, take out that rock and chip off the rock that its attached to.
  21. you sure can, its a great way of propagating them
  22. i wouldnt reccomend a huge water change, just a good one (20%ish)
