    Skimmer test

what does that have to do with anything?? i have purchased it for my personal use and i will comment on how it preformson my tank. ive seen how the deltecs work and i think they work well but i dont think many people will trust you when you say that the beckett isnt any good, i mean seriously three days and your already saying that it hasnt produced much. im wouldnt at all be surprised if you got one for the sole purpose of trying to make it look bad. heaven knows its in your best interest to have no real competition in the skimmer market

  11. yep claire would love that too. think i'll invest in a fan next month
  12. i will need two to get the coverage i need anb 250's are probably the way to go, dont feel like 2x400w is necassary
  13. behold the new arrivals very stunning little package the skimmer is, when i first took it out of the box i was a little bit worried that it was going to be too big to fit in the cabinet, but after unwrapping it from the bubble wrap it was pleasently suprised that it was a perfect fit. should receive the pump and the rest of the gizmo's next week and i'll then be able to design my sump and get rid of the micro bubbles for good.

    sweet

    gooooo the zeo tank
  15. well while im looking at lighting options i thought that i'd throw this into the mix. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=9d23ed7c3c8597dfccfd4d8dc0c54e2d&threadid=441773&perpage=25&pagenumber=5 http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/sept2004/review.htm lovely looking tanks they have with these spots, the ability to focus the light is a bonus as well. any thoughts??
  16. hmmmm darn it, time for some more options
  17. i guess the 250's will give a better coverage, what about 3x 150's that might work nicely. one centred up the top and then one on the left and one on the right, or doesnt the 150 have enough punch?
  18. as you can see in this pic im heading towards a central sort of structure that could be covered by one big 400w or a bit more coverage maybe with 2x250's
  19. 2x250 or 1x400w ive never seen a 400w in action so its a little hard to gauge the coverage. the 250s would be enough i guess but something in my head says get the 400 (probably because its a higher number)
  20. one question, what are you going to put for glass on the bottom or are you leaving it open?
  21. beautifull. very keen to see what the coverage is like with those as compared to the normal ones your using at the mo.
