  1. Are you using a chlorine remover?
  2. I used the micmol and found it pretty good, so good I now regret selling it as I am also about to set up a small nano the same as yours.
  3. I have a large group of clown loaches available, large as in about 12 fish (hard to count) , but large as in largest would be approximately 200mm in size. Looking for around $350 for the group, i am happy to send them but would rather air freight due to size but if you are ok with overnight courier at your risk i am happy to send them, one fish per bag and probably 3 bags a fish.
  4. That is the one I use (proflora) and find it very effective. Using it with the other products will be fine and will not cause any harm to your fish at all.
  5. Adding some root fert balls to the words is a good idea. Swords love them! From there i would follow the instructions on the bottles for both flourish and excel and all should be well. Setting up a co2 system would not be a bad idea, once most people use co2 they do not go back as it is a great addition to a planted tank
  6. Tank a moment to truly enjoy this http://www.adana.co.jp/en/lisbon/

  9. Tough question, what about two larger bottles, on a rotation system? I have never used a sodastream system, only larger bottles so I can not help too much on them- but plenty of others have done it that way.
  10. you will not regret going with a co2 system, I love my pressurized injected set up.
  11. Cut the stems down regularly and replant the cuttings if you want, this allows light to get to the bottom to keep them growing. Also get bottle of flourish comprehensive (or an equivalent) to continue to give ferts to the plants, use this with the excel as per bottle instructions for best results. Growing plants is all about balance, picture a triangle with light, fertilizer and co2. Keep the balance right and you will be away laughing. If you do not have a light timmer, I suggest you get one. They are a planted tanks best friend.
  12. Howdy, I am looking forward to seeing photos of your aquascape, that seems to be a theme in the country now, which is awesome.
  13. Spots on the middle one make me think a copadichromis- but other bits make me think it is not.

C.azureus are here. New Pupuke is well worth a look for high quality Africans. Every time I am in Auckland I make sure I go there, in fact I put it on my itinerary so I do not forget.
  15. Yes I am using it in my shop and everything seems to take to it well. I like feeding it as I leave at night as it gives a chances for some of the plecos to get a feed that they may not get in the morning feeds. I also use the same green tray

    Hi from Taupo

    HI, nice to meet you
  17. I have been considering rehoming my loaches, group is around 15, the biggest ones would be in and around the 15cm mark or bigger- If I do sell them, you will be the first to know.
  18. I have 7 around that size that I am going to be selling off in the near future- 2 are currently ready to go, the others still have fish in them, but will be for sale very soon.
