What is your fish keeping story?

I was given a turtle who had been neglected and was living in a bucket, my mate who took it off the owner also gave me a tank and a couple of kribs to feed it with, turns out it had no chance of getting the fish as it was too munted. A couple weeks later someone I know bought some guppies for hr coldwater tank without realising they were not compatible, so in they went a well. This bought on tank number two and away she went.... -
It looks terrible in person. I am in the process of setting up a low light fern and anubias tank, so hopefully with some love and some time it wil come good again.

I did not realise mine had gotten so long, they had started to grow behind my tank without me seeing it.

I have a large one that looks similar as well, but 3 weeks ago when it was fully unclear it looked nothing like it. That is enough for me to go with JD as a positive ID. Thank you all. Now to look for some dam acaras again.

Can anyone tell me the difference in these fish as juvis? Mine have an orange seem on the dorsel fin, which makes me think BA, but they look so close to JD is it not funny.
