  1. Looking good. Your puffers are quite a bit skinny though.
  2. Would boiling it, or putting it in an oven to kill the yeast off work? Strong alcohol bath should kill yeast to. Assuming that the slimy feeling is from yeast on plants.
  3. What are you going to be using as substrate? Sand/gravel? Colour?
  4. Looks like it could be cool, you going to put substrate on the bottom?
  5. interesting aricle, thanks. I did quite like the "t was as if Jason Schwartzman, coming to work one day to learn the big office stud had quit, morphed into Arnold Schwarzenegger by close of business." part.
  6. Noce tanks, and nice photo's. If you are looking for plans for one of your small tanks grow ramshorn snails in it for your puffers? Is the sword you have an osiris sword? if so does it have enough light? (Same with your moss)
  7. Drool, nice pictures, nice tank. So jealous.
  8. Ouch, good luck fighting it.
  9. At the time I was doing it was home almost all day and was prepared to do large amounts of water changes if the fish showed any stress, so I saw that as moderating the risk.
  10. That is deffinitly BBA, as said Excel will kill it, I found myself dosing at about 2x dose when I was killing it out of my tank.
  11. Looks good cant wait to see it with plants every where. Patience grasshopper, the plants will grow in there own time. The fact they have put on some growth is a good sign, and they may not be growing fast due to not having much nitrates.
  12. Nice, your fish are looking nice and healthy.
  13. I want to know what they are, is that a picture of them living art, any better pictures?
  14. ingesting sand wouldn't be to bad a problem as as long as it isn't sharp it will just pass straight through them and comes out with there poo's. You can get problems with gravel as when they swallow it it can get stuck in there digestive tract causing constipation and possible death.
  15. Breaking bad is getting so intense, I am so happy and sad that it is nearly over.
