Invercargill finally showed us some sun today.
I walked into the Queen's Park this morning (while Grant went to the truck museum - I have seen it 2x which was enough for me but he was happy to see it a 3rd time) and had a good look around. They have a big aviary in there and a number of animals too. Then went to the museum and met Harry the tuatara.
We then went to Bluff and had a lovely lunch at The Drunken Sailor, went up to the lookout, then back into town as Grant wanted to visit a man specialising in 1950's/60's sports cars who also builds replica early Jaguars and Ford GT40's.
We were going to fly to Stewart Island but it was very rough and windy and I don't travel well so we decided to do that another time.
Tomorrow we head to Queenstown, stopping on the way for a trip on the Kingston Flyer :happy1:
