My favourites change all the time but some I have enjoyed recently are;
I don't want to go to rehab - Amy Winehouse
Candyman - Christina Aquilera
Mercy - Buffy
Old time favourites include;
All Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon album
Neil Diamond
Deep Purple
Michael Jackson's Thriller album
Wham (cheesy I know)
Alison Moyet
Sisters are doing it for themselves - Annie Lennox & Aretha Franklin
Barron Knights
Dire Straits
Donna Summer
Don McLean
ABBA (Dare I admit it?)
Boney M & Village People (Hey. I grew up with these groups!)
Elvis Presley (in moderation)
Nilsson - Without You and the Puppy Song
Irish Rovers
Roberta Flack
A few comedy songs from Matinee Idle:
Dead Puppies - Dr Demento
I'm Looking Over My Dead Dog Rover - Dr Demento
Poisoning Pigeons In The Park - Tom Lehrer
I also liked David Eddings early books (Belgarian & Maloreon) but hate the ones he does now.
I was also disappointed in the latest Lee Child. Not up to his usual standard I thought
Presently reading Michael Connolly's Echo Park
Love Lee Child, Terry Pratchett, David Gemmell, JD Robb, Jennifer Cruisie, Susan Andersen, Linda Howard, Karen Robards... the list goes on
They vary. The females are around 6cm but the biggest male would be 10 - 12cm with the other males in between. Plus all the fry zipping about at 2 - 3cm
I don't know about elsewhere but I believe our Mitre 10 and Warehouse BBQ spots are booked up many months in advance! :-?
Grocery raffles are always popular.
Anywhere your club can gather a trailer load of wood to raffle off?
They are one of my favourites. A lovely looking fish but highly under-rated. Pale cream body with green and black splotches.
They are a cold water species and, as you say, a live bearer. Nowhere near as prolific as guppies though! They like good water conditions to breed.
Well Grant and I are halfway there!
We had 2 patients here (I am at work at a GP's office) who was due to celebrate their 73rd anniversary when she died
He died aged 93 a couple of years later. We had been joking about him having to save up cos the 75th was platinum (I think) and he had to buy her something real fancy
Those with individual switches are great.
There is nothing wrong with the cheap multi outlet boxes if you plug the stuff in and leave it plugged in. It is when you are plugging and unplugging that problems occur.
We have a number of heavy duty 8 way boards 8)
This particular one has a 6 way and two 4 way boxes added to it
All low power I might add - it is also dangerous to overload your multi boards!
PS. You should have seen it before Grant tidied the cables
I have at least 5 adult males and 2 females. I never noticed any of the females change shape but I now have lots of BN fry zipping about and have no idea who did the deed, or where :-?
Very heavily planted tank with large bits of driftwood in it.
I got our club members to count them at the meeting to prove I had over 10 (they are over a month old) so I will register them with the breeding scheme 8)
Statler and Waldorf were the hecklers.
I think I would be Miss Piggy cos she got to boss everyone around, had a good sense of self, and also got to karate chop those who annoyed her
I didn't realise magpies were kitting themselves out with spy planes these days!
Ira I hope you realise the forecast for Sunday in Wgtn is gale force winds and rain
