This was great fun and some effort had gone into several entries. I especially loved The Stig and his Ferrari, Spongebob Squarepants and the Eiffel tower. :happy1:

I have no idea who won but most did not make it over the finish line due to the wind blowing them in the opposite direction. The two most affected by this were the Eiffel tower (they broke their own tower to lessen wind drag) and the tank. No matter how hard the tank boys rowed forwards they still got blown backwards at great speed!
The cows managed to row their milk carton twice around the course! :happy2:
Interesting you should say that Livingart. When we purchased Pepper, the shop gave us a box of "bird" stuff to go with it. Most was unsuitable, and in some cases, even dangerous for our bird!
Good on you Ira. I hope an improved diet will at least stop future breaks
Our new bird has been put on hold until next season as the parents did not produce anything this year
We were offered a hand reared blue quaker but Grant wants a green.
Yes, my friend had health issues and they discovered the roof was leaking and mould had grown inside the wall next to where she regularly sat. She has not had any problems since they fixed the wall and replaced the roof.
Great pics!
Our rain gauge was not working and Grant discovered a very thick spider's web blocking it. Perhaps it was the same sort. Do you know what sort it is and how big is it? Can't tell actual size from those close-ups.
For those interested in what the Tasman area over Takaka way looks like, have a look here. Note the sub albums down the right side of the main Paton's Rock album too 8)
