Caryl's children were working on a fishing boat in winter by the time they were 6, filletting fish and shovelling coal on the furnace... they preferred summer though, that is when they got to work in the fields picking hops
The first 2 I had were hardy and used to get stuck in with the other bottom feeders eating whatever pellets or food was on the bottom.
The last 4 since then I never saw eating processed food and they all died for apparently no reason.
in the title it says calves and a calf is a baby critter!
soon I am going to deduct points from both of you, and you will only be able to reverse them by posting cute baby animal pictures (preferable furry animals) IMMEDIATELY!
:spop:
They all died and then I bought a new pair from HFF a week or 2 ago and put them in the moss tank. Haven't seen any fry yet but here's hoping....
in other fry news, there are now 3 killie fry and 3 eggs with tails :spop:
Seems that this tank is harbouring a bit of a forbidden love story.... click the picture below for a short film.
This is my last emerald dwarf rasbora (now I know it is a female), getting it on with a male Axelrod rasbora. :cofn:
my 6 adults are chirpy and perky, a little bit of chasing but nothing aggressive that I've seen. They were in with the CPDs for a while and I would say they chased them more than they chase each other.
snail rid is pretty easy and you can just water change it all out before the fish arrive.
the only I'm not sure of is how that would affect new tank cycling, that's if it is a new filter.

I think we need an Ant and Caryl Cooks thread for all the yummy baking.. but Ant you'll have to buy yourself a decent camera for christmas first
