hey Ant what yummy puddings are you going to make for the holidays? I've cheated and bought an Edmonds Pavlova egg but I am hatching a plan to do something other than a normal pavlova with it.

went for a run in my new shoes this afternoon and tripped and fell forwards, grazed my palms, knees and somehow the inside of my left arm got the worst of it where I rolled like Rambo down the footpath  At least it was concrete footpath so I didn't take off much skin. Have done it on a clay and gravel road once before and man that hurt, I nearly passed out washing the dirt out my palms that time

    such wishful thinking...
  7. There is Great South Rd Greenlane West, quite a few dealers there. Where Broadway meets Manukau Rd, Great South Rd and Alpers Ave there is a big Honda dealership and a a couple of european places like Continental cars within about 50m of that. Further away I think there are a few at the Papatoetoe end of Great South Rd.
  8. haha that's good mf4l that snake cake is cool too. I'd eat it
  9. I will stick my neck out and say it's going to be grubby weather all week but we won't get much excitement from that cyclone. We check the weather using this baromic map, it's usually more accurate than the Metservice http://www.bom.gov.au/australia/charts/ ... E=IDY00050 Probably an inside activity or a rainy drive to somewhere with tasty food would be safe. What about a car picnic? Maybe not something that would enthuse the kids but could be fun if it is pouring down. :bounce:
  10. Best to see if you can buy them seperately if the mixtures are not as Jennifer suggested below. A mixture appropriate for birds may not be useful for fish. Aviverm isn't a mixture so if you can get that by itself it's a start.

I thought P44's jungle tanks were dutch, I thought it looked like that. Yours had distinct groupings. Maybe I used the wrong term

it looks 'dutch' and I reckon you should keep it like that for a while, enjoy it looking natural
  13. Got my trampers friend this week, I used it for a 4km run and it was quite good, and just now on 8.7km. I thought that my toes would get hot with it but that doesn't happen at all. I'm still experimenting with how I weave it about in my toes. I also like how it felts with the fibres in my socks and makes an extra layer of sock. And I've decided I will be doing the half marathon on Feb 17th. However, in order to allow myself to not like running that far, I've decided not to enrol till nearer the time in case I run 20km and hate it. :cr10: Mel are you planning to run in any events or just keep running the distances with Mcrudd Running Club?
  14. I have Aviverm, which was 8ml for $8. I think the bigger bottles were better value but I only bought a little.
  15. I am bad at maths, I would be asking someone else to help me  . Also my stuff is not the same so we can't compare it.
  16. ..not if they keep spawning when I'm not looking so I don't get a chance to save the eggs! There were only 2 that I saw yesterday, they weren't at it for a long time like the previous time I saw them

  18. have you ever thought of putting coolant in the radiator ? :digH:
  19. no new killie eggs tonight and another egg went to fungus. Seems that the more they lay, the less they hatch. Also caught the peppered cories spawning earlier but the other fish were eating the eggs pretty quick.
