What I usually do, is net the fish and pop them in a bucket and then go through and change the gravel and re aquascaoe the tank, then pop them all back in. B

I got them there, but they are just red x's Which indicates that your photo hoster doesn't allow hot linking, I use www.photobucket.com with great success. B

they are awesome pics cat, and a great colouration in the male, they are normally that colour but I have only seen a few colour up that much B

Hi Maxy, Tank-scaping is all about personal preference, it's what you think looks nice as you will see it everyday, but to get some ideas why not have a look in the members tank section and add your location to your profile and visit some of the forum mem=bers tanks for ideas as well. B

Shoot down to your local hardware store, they usually have alcathene(sp) tubing which is flexible, not sure what size it goes up to tho and not sure of it's heat resisiting properties. B

It would work, as most of the diffusers are bell shaped, which gives a larger surface contact and what I beleive a more steady and even distrubution. I would look into attaching a bubble counter and then you can set it to disperse at your own set rate and it also means you don't have to remember to fill the tube all the time as it will slowely drip feed in and fill as it disperses. B

I also am very impressed with Graemes jewels, however not sure about his comment on them going in a community tank, as I have 8 of them that are holding thier own with a pair of convicts( whoopee you say) and also my new 20cm Jag is not bothering them too much, a little more at the mo, but she is about to spawn I think. B

I agree there shae, but I am not a big fan of the upstands sticking up and having to cover it with plants B

Don't bother with an undegravel for a tank that size, I would stick with the 2 cannister filters and maybe add an airstone to the tank as an interest point rather than having two dirty great upstands sticking out the gravel. I find getting an airstone and burying it in the substrate and then sticking a peice of driftwood over it, makes an awesome interest peice for any tank. B

also why not check out trade me, I have brought a couple from there and they usually have cupboards or drawers, so you can keep all the associated paraphanalia in there aswell. B

Hey pearly, i purchased mine from the Htt pet centre in Lower Hutt, a very good Price, was about $130 from memory. And also if you are part of a club that is affiliated with the FNZAS you also get a discpount if you ask nicely. B
