I find it crazy that no one seemed to bring up that Palin was the one pushing for Alaska being independent. I would have thought that wanting to be part of the US was an important thing for the VP... I agree that a president doesn't actually have to be experienced, but the fact that so many Americans did not think that it is important astounds me. A lot of politics is knowing who and when to sway and bribe on board. Obama should be fine at this (insert your own racist joke here). I have to say, although he's not my pic of president, I think that he and his wife are doing a good job in the 24hrs post election. He certainly knows how to be inclusive and to encourage participation in politics.

The thing you need to remember is that to get an E, you need to meet the requirements for A + M. Lots of people could answer the E questions, but didn't answer the A's correctly. Learn how NCEA works, and make it work for you, then you'll be sweet.

Olly, I did similar a couple of yrs ago: L3 Chemistry L3 Biology L3 English L3 Physics L3 Statistics L3 History L3 Geography + Scholarship in Bio, stats, english, physics and history. I didn't study, and did pretty well, mostly E's and a few M's. In saying that, I don't recommend the not studying route to others - if you go to uni you can't really get away not studying - in Law at least.

It certainly looks like a wound with an infection. Perhaps you added those other fish too soon, and they had something that he wasn't immune to, and he wasn't completely healed, so got sick again. I guess the only thing you can do is treat him for bacteria and fungus if you still don't know which it is. I'd say that while it looks like a fungus, if it hasn't responded to fungicide, it's probably a resistant bacteria.

Agreed, but Obama is experienced at being a lawyer and lecturer, not politician (other than 4 years as senator). McCain has been in politics for much longer, and truly (IMO) understands how the politics game works. That's true David - I heard a thing on some US radio station where they went around and asked people who they were voting for - when they said Obama, they asked whether they agreed with his anti-abortion policies, keeping troups in Iraq, and 'his pic' of Palin as vice. Heaps of them said that they agreed with those policies, and even thought that he and Palin were on the same side.

Meh, the whole thing started as a political discussion...we're not discussing OUR politics....

This is the scariest thing ever for the world. Obama simply doesn't have the experience, it'll create such major tension in the world. It won't be long till we see China take over as the next superpower now.

Just make sure you wash them before you put them in.

I don't know how scientific this is, but when I keep only male guppies together, they seem to get sick more easily...maybe it's something to do with that?

Basically as alan said - keep movement over the eggs, and the methylene blue helps stop the light getting at them so the bad ones fungus. Depending on the temp you're keeping them at, they've probably hatched by now. You don't need to feed them until they start swimming around by themselves. Remember, little but often, otherwise the water in a small tank will go bad pretty quick.
