Yea, but that is only 30 - 45% of there call center staff, the rest is overseas call centers. Its just by luck and what time of the day as to which one your call goes to

Ok, my wife just got me to look at one of her red parrots, its been chased a little and its fins are getting dark / black blotches on them Could this be stress or just something red parrots fins do? or something I'm not seeing?

The funny thing is in most areas, most of them run off the same cable network. Also depending on what you use the internet for depends on which on is best (in most cases). in my opinion for online gaming / fast uploading - telstra. For fast downloads and streaming (e.g. youtube) - telecom. But then again some areas the cables ain't to great and it can be the other way around. The best way to check in my opinion is more what people in your area think I know i'm missing a few details out, but just trying to put a few of the points out there Hope this helps

Well, tried a different yeast last night (the 7 day brewers yeast). After 9 hours came back and had a look, every second getting 3 - 4 bubbles which I guess is still a little to much. Would that amount of co2 be ok in a 850L tank with say 1.2 meters of air stone running all the time in it to help keep the oxygen levels, or still to much co2 for the tank? This time I used: 1 and a half table spoons of yeast 2 and a half cups of sugar Any one got any ideas for me to try, I'm just mucking round trying to see different ways of doing this, and will be adding fertilizer once I have a good mix and seeing if that makes much more of a difference

A simple way but off the point is, you could just line the drum with pond liner Just an idea, HTH

Well I just added 3 ice blue Cichlids to my main tank. 20 min later a school has formed with a make up of 2 oscars leading, the 3 ice blue very close behind and 2 green dempseys just behind them Now there just doing slow laps around the tank :lol: I didn't think I would ever see something like this Will try and get a photo later if I can find the camera

Ah thats good to know, there in a tank thats about 800 liters at the mo so if they keep to them selves for the most part it should be fine. As soon as I see free swimming fry though I'll siphon them out and rase them in the sump (If i'm lucky enough to get that far)

Don't really want to put a divider in this tank as a) its a big tank. b) its our main display tank so don't really want to slap a big sheet of glass or plastic in the middle of it. In the end it may end up like that but am going to try and stay away from it for now I'm trying to convince my landlord to let me have more tanks (even though I don't really have room :-? ) and if I can I will try to make room for a 4 foota for em. But I doubt I will be aloud to :lol:

Well today my oscars decided to start showing all the signs of getting ready to try and breed, at first I thought this is great but then saw this ain't good as I don't have another tank big enough to move them to, and the tank there in now has a few different kinds of fish that could get picked on if they start getting really stroppy. Just wondering what ways I could go from here - would love to get a big enough tank to try and breed them, but just don't have the room, and don't want to move them on as the wife and I love em So maybe a tough call to make later on.....

When you go in your LFS just to buy some fish food, spend $200, get home and realize you didn't get any fish food Twice now :oops:

well I got bored so decided to try some different yeast mix's to try and get different results. Set up 2 glass bottles with rubber bungs just in case of too much gas builds up, and ran some air tube to a drinking glass to see how much gas i could make. 1st attempt - 3 table spoons of Turbo yeast (brewers yeast, was meant to use the 7 day one, but used the 24 hour one by mistake) 3 cups of white sugar After 20 min from mixing with about 5 liters of warm water I was get a burst of 3 -5 bubbles every 6 - 7 seconds. 7 hours later came back to see how it was going to find about 8 - 12 bubbles per second... I'm really glad this test was done with a drinking glass and not one of my tanks lol I tried to control the gas flow with a tap and 2 outlets but no luck just yet - I have a few ideas to work on so far

A mate of mine has ended up with a pet duck, and the first question I get asked is - What is the best thing to feed it? I've been told that bread isn't to good for them, but other than that I don't know what would be the main food to give a duck. Any ideas or care addvice I can give my mate?

Yea, found out a bit more about the tigers after getting them lol. As for the oscars, they have been brought up in the same tank as the yellows and have had no problems at all... the only problem is our oscars are big wimps, there are about 8 out of 15 feeder fish that have lived and grown up in the old tank as well that now push the oscars out of the way :lol:

My wife and I finally got the tank we have wanted for some time a few weeks ago and we now have all most finished setting it up. The tank is 2 meters L x 65cm D x 70cm H I still have to move a few things around, and have a few more plants to add but thought i would share some pic's now and see what people think So far we have half of the fish in the tank that will be there once done 2 pictus cats 4 electric yellow 1 Black shark 1 Pleco 2 borneo tiger Over the next few days will be adding 2 Oscars 2 Green dempseys 6 Electric yellows and maybe some clown loachs, 2 more pictus cats after a while

My pleco in my 4foota has decide to start chasing what ever goes past him around the tank, and quite fast at times. I have never seen him do this before so I'm wondering if any thing is wrong? He is about is about 25 - 30cm long. I will be getting a bigger tank in a few weeks (just waiting for it to be made). Just wondering, will having more room help solve this or am I missing something?

You could try the pet shop in Masterton, I'm sure they like there bird stuff (I think lol)
