  1. what is with everyone getting staghorn all of a sudden? 12+ years of keeping fish, and the first time i heard of it was last month when my tank got it, and now it seems really common.
  2. agreed, except instead of avoiding avocado, eliminate it totally. NO avocado ever. not worth it eh.
  3. noo! no time wasting going on here, I wait for threads to pop up in the plant and catfish section
  4. On the whole I think they are pretty awesome.
  5. conures love water. he is very beautiful clicker training is one of the ways i "fixed" rusty. only by the end of it, i found out that he was throwing the clickers out the window

  8. not 100% sure but 2 tabs, for 7 days. 1 tab with every wc, done once every 2 days? also this is a big discus, dunno if you saw her, but she is large and red and blue, like a turq but not.
  9. do you mean LFS? or does LHS mean something else? (apart from left hand side) eheim impellors are even more expensive, so that's some consolation
  10. RIP Bud. Caryl you are really strong to have made the decision you did. Bud was possibly the happiest budgie I had heard of.
  11. Ron this fish was the healthiest in a tank of about 8 discus. he ate like a pig the morning she got her, so I don't know what is really wrong. It came from a tank with a UV sterilizer and the fish were prazi'd before going into the tank. need help mel? i can try making it out there after work one day.

    L177

L177 is never correctly ID'd on the supply list. Suppliers never send me plecos with sunken bellies, the 1 I buy plecos off takes good care of his fish
  15. bro that was the 1st of JAN
  16. whoa! that means you bred them! :bounce: Congrats! I thought purple catfish was the only one who bred them.
  17. sagitaria microfolia, is a dwarf version of subulata and only grows short and forms a carpet in a tank. It will do well under high lighting, but does fine under a normal amount of light as well.
  18. albinos are albinos of the normal type. GBA's are also a form of the normal type. The L number(144) is considered an error by lots of people. This quote from another forum sums it up well
