  1. OVERHAUL THE TANK? I think not. I can't risk that, and its far too stressful with all the plecos in there, my heart would be palpatating. I just meant, redo a couple of plants, cahnge the varieties and not touching the swords and crypts etc. My next tank though (eventually) will have daltons sand in it though
  2. nah. its grown well, but not red. must be some other plant. consider it done  all that stuff I gave you was basically on the LHS corner (rear) and the hygro was growing at the bottom around the pleco caves.
  3. No this is the tank last night, in my new room (master bedroom). I removed a whole load of plants, chucked some out and gave some to mel, then took this picture.
  4. Hi Res Version - how can i make it better? I prefer the high light plants. I would like to get rid of the rotundifolia and replace it with macrandra.
  5. yeap, the whole part is replaced. called a uv tube, get the right unit for your setup. shops should have them or order them in at the least.
  6. I like the catfish! reds and lancelotas! a few dozen more fancy plecos and you will have a tank like mine! do you like royal whiptails?
  7. yeah, i have a major bone to pick with those starter kits. gah! bane of the bird world. mirror toys should be banned for birds.
  8. I went out and saw him today. its very weird to see him "bob" around like a piece of driftwood in the sea literally... he was healthy as ever and almost immediately things have turned round for him, its a bit perplexing....
  9. Now the leaves are proper leaves, and there is no cover on the setup.
  10. That is because cold water bristle noses, guppies, mollies and the like DO NOT exist. who ever says they do is wrong. there are no two ways about that. In the tropic it is possible to have tropical fish in a pond because winter equates to an average temp of about 28 degrees C.
  11. Looking better already I think. What are your opinions?
  12. albino? and a real oranda? a lot i would say.
  13. totally. ryan, so if these were bred with blonds, the resulting offspring would be? ______ not that i want to breed them
  14. no, no females. I don't want to breed them unless someone has a female blond guppy or a female flagtail and wants babies.
  15. i agree with the course of action, but what are we trying to treat?
  16. its probably the best all in one starter tank for marines in NZ.

    Oh dear..

    he is secretly judging you...
  18. from a banking perspective, you are a third + year student so should be able to get an interest free OD capped at $2000, typically a bank will charge $2 per month for the management fee, and that's ok. same for your partner if he is full time or is enrolled full time at the time of the OverDraft processing. next month you should be able to claim course related costs of $1000 per full time student, and a student loan of $150-160 pw. keep up with the job search, get rid of any extras you have lying around, and don't pop out babies to claim the benefit  although you're smart and wont do that any ways.
  19. welcome to my world ha ha. at least your bird does not hump your head.
  20. the plant in question is sold under at least 3 different common names, and since its grown emersed and the leaf looks different, is confsed and even sold as baby tears all the time. Im sure I have sold this as baby tears dozens of times.
  21. I hope I am not the source.
