Caryl definitely spoke to my magazine as she packed it
I'm with the NZKA so my CFK membership won't have kicked in yet, as I haven't forwarded subs to Jane just yet. Just waiting for the responses from the other clubs.
You can try statistics nz, but im not sure you will find the info there.
I think trademe has a wages index by sector.
But ideally you would apply for the same job elsewhere and see what they pay.
Some institutions (usually union bound) are limited to a fixed set of wages per band / job / job level. Doesn't account for bonuses though.
you just ask for a review if you haven't had an annual review. If you are owed one, ask for it and demonstrate how you add value to everyday tasks and increase value to the firm using actual facts.
If it is a new job that you are applying for, then there is always a large margin to bargain with. A close relative of mine added 50k to the pay packet at the first mention of the salary being too low.
yeah, that's partially why I let the algae get like that. I didn't want to mess about with the babies, and now im so incredibly attached to them. They were sooo tiny when i fist saw them and ive been documenting how they have grown over the past month.
I know it vanishes when you add excel, so at the moment im trying the whole nutrient overdose thing so the plants compete with aglae. Will let you know how it goes.
Don't worry. It'll look like that in 2 days flat. Its been doing this for a couple of weeks now. Its good for the babies as their food gets caught on it and then they graze.
But today I added a load of comprehensive, another DIY CO2 thing and 10mL of excel. Will see how it goes.
Once / if the algae goes away I'll cover the pots in moss. That should look nice I think.
last time i got this algae on the crypt tank I just cut the lights out and used a CFL and its gone now. can't do that in this tank as the glosso might not like that; or if i do cut the lights out and then put them back on when its gone, the algae will just come back.
Everything is OK, except the Urea
Urea undergoes a series of reactions and breaks down into CO2 and Ammonia.
Do not use urea in an aquatic environment with fauna.
I meant space wise, like if its a small tank and the roots have covered the surface area of the base, that's what's limiting the plants.
Not sure though, I just remembered how bonsai are grown and thought there might be some similarity.
It is weird behaviour, that's for sure. I had one royal that used to swim across the tank, but no whiptail of any sort has ever latched on to another fish, so it definitely is not the norm.
Try a red whiptail if you like, they are pretty cool too.
