  3. Just wondering if anyone has tried using the JBL Pond Fertiliser Balls as opposed to the JBL Aquarium Fertiliser Balls in their freshwater tropical tank and if so did they have any affect on the fish?

  5. I bred the Colisa chuna (Honey Dwarf Gourami) and when I sent in my Breeding Registration form it came back with Colisa sota...scrtached my head about that but am guessin there may now be variations?
  6. I have 6-8 each of Boesemani, Dwarf Neons, Madagascars in my 4ft community tank and they live happily with Angels, Gourami, Mollies, GBA's, Cories, Black Phantom tetra and Clown Loaches Simon...Thanks for the tips on breeding...about to give it a try so very handy

Finally got round to replanting my 4ft Community tank and wanted to thank those who either sold/gave me plants or who helped pick up and post to me, really appreciate your help ......Foglove, Wayneh, Phoenix & Navarre Here's a couple of photo's of what I've done so far. Think I might keep reading and learning from what you and others have done or suggested THEN set my African tank up......in the meantime I can get all the schist, oyster grit, etc ready I've been wondering how you avoid dead spots in amongst all those schist layers where food, fish poo, etc might collect and start polluting water without having to add a such a strong current that the fish will just hide and never be seen? Or is that a dumb ass question lol :oops:

Thanks Phoenix I'd just loooove to come and have a nosey, don't have a car but one day I'll be up your way and will take you up on your offer...decided earlier this year to delay setting up african tank until 2010 but after seeing how awesome yours looks I could be very tempted to sell some of my other fishies and start slowly setting it up now Keep the photo's and progress reports coming in please
