:bounce: Hi There, Two weeks ago I bought a group of 6 gourami's, a pair of golden and four 3spot gourami's who all seemed to get along famously until a few days ago when a couple of the blues started harrassing one of the golden gourami. They've eased up a bit but the golden is now swimming eratically, a slow rocking movement most of the time except when one of the blues comes near and then it'll swim properly, more as a means of escape I think. It never tries to hide in the tank as there are many hidey holes...is this weird rocking movement stress of the start of a disease......have done water check and it's ok, did 25% water change also and added extra Aqua Plus. My next option is to remove/sell the 4 blues as I'd prefer to keep the goldens. Any help you can give would really be appreciated as I'm fairly new to tropicals :bounce: Cheers Tracy

:-? Their tails haven't got any worse, phewww, but how long should they take to grow back as there has been minimal regrowth? I had a similar problem with goldfish a while back and after treatment their tails and fins had grown back within about a week to 10 days? ...reckon patience is a virtue I'm learning very quickly

I bought some guppies privately about a week ago and noticed their tails only had what I thought was fin rot or possible nipping from the tank they came from so have tried treating with Aqua Clear Conditioner with very diluted tonic salt. They seem to be very happy in their new home as they're swimming round madly...Phew!! Am I on the right track? If not what should I try please? If I'm on the right track how long should it take for their tails to grow back? :-?

I'm fairly new to fishkeeping and have 3 tanks now, the largest being 4ft which is a community tank and have just started breeding albino snakeskin guppies (virgin females) and expecting first batch of fry in about a week...glad I didn't come into this life as a female guppy, the thought of giving birth to up to 100 babies in one go, hell no...lmao :lol:
