  3. traditionally you are correct in regard to the interpretation of the word "meal", and historically the word "meal" was an easy way to say "all the crap bits that are industry biproducts". The "new" laws regarding label ingredients appear to try and balance the needs of the consumer with the desires of the regulatory authorities. Repashy is a premium product, and the company states that it only uses whole animal ingredients, but it is a meal by the time it is in the product, so it is a tricky balance that needs to be achieved. I am not sure if the amount of space on the label, and the requirement to list all of the other ingredients also played a part in the dropping of the word "whole", or whether it is because the products have been around for 20 years and consumers in other markets already understand that Repashy only use whole ingredients, so the word was removed from the label. additionally if you compare the finished product, which is 3-4 times the volume of the package that is purchased, and the length of time it lasts, then it is in fact similarly priced to a lot of the other products on the market. For disclosure purposes: I am the NZ importer and distributor for Repashy products. Cheers
  4. Bottom scratcher and meat pie. Bottom scratcher also contains New Zealand green lipped mussels
  5. Whole black soldier fly larvae, whole sardine, whole anchovy, whole squid, and whole krill form the backbone of the non vegan fish foods
  6. It is a food transition issue. Sometimes the male can actually keep them to long in the cave, and they starve. you need some of the soft food, rather than the Pleco chips, as the chips do not spread around the tank like the tab food does. zucchini is better than cucumber as the cucumber is already higher in moisture than the zucchini, and fouls the water quicker.
  7. Just add water and a cave of any type that the male can live in. Then wait. good luck cheers
  8. Perhaps you have exceeded your word allocation Max?
  9. Hi, what sort of fish are you looking for? cheers Geoff
  10. As adults, you could have up to 8 in a tank that size. You have no other "bottom dwelling" fish. They don't "care" if they have friends or not, as they are not a schooling fish. If you have more crevices / hiding spots than you have fish then there will be no aggression, and aggression can be completely eliminated by having zero caves. Some people have one cave and more than one male, and the males fight over the cave, which is why some people say they must be on their own. A cave is defined as any space, crack, tube, or other object that has only one entrance. The ones for sale are generally too small to sex. Cheers.
  11. At the right of the search box is the picture of a magnifying glass. To the right of that is a down arrow. Selecting that down arrow gives you the option to search expired listings, which will give you what you want. Cheers
