hi guys ive decided 2 change my frog tank around a bit but im having a hard time deciding wat to do with it . i was going to make an incredibly complex polystyrene structure but it sounds like too much work and i cant garentee it would look the way i want it to. also i would like to keep it simpler so if i have to catch the frogs i can do so easy without damaging stuff. i would like to keep the upright piece of driftwood in this photo , it has a bromeliad growing on it also i want to keep the vine in there. i have another big piece of driftwood out of this tank its the 1 on the left this tank is 3 ft long im thinking i could do something with the two bits of driftwood . however its gets harder now ane 1 got aneideas on how to use live plants in there(like baby house plants ) without using a divider ( as i want to keep as much of the water down below free for the axies) ane suggestions much apprieated

u can get special filter intakes for canister filters that skim that scum off the surface as well as normally filtering the water i gt mine for $1 off ebay

im a smoker i still try to give up. i have heard of numerous attempts to get around the law i know of a few workplaces(note 99 percent of clients, visitors and workers here smoked) and small organisations that registered as maraes to get around this law. another place i know knocked a wall down (a building is only classified as a building under this act if it has 3 or more walls and a roof ) so immagine an open bayed huge shed built with stell i beams they pulled some iron off the end (which wasnt used anyway) and got around it

we have permission 4 two cats didnt bother asking about the 5 fishtanks or the two rabbits they havent said anething yet tho. when our landlord decided to try sell the house the people who looked thru the house were more intersted in the tanks then the house!

i have a pair of kribs and 6 cories , 3 of them are very small bout 2cm max i have never had ane problems with my kribs picking on anething

some sealants are solvent cure and will melt the polystyrene aquarium sealant is normally acetic cure which wont melt the poly i would still recommend curing the sealant in water before puting the fish in tho

i found this site after finding a fish cup at my work the site is 99% in korean(i think) but from the pictures u will get an idea of it its worse than golfish bowls the cup is slightly small than a pump bottle! http://www.fish-fish.net/ look under the product and photos section at the top google translator doesnt help much

i read in a really old skool aquarium magazine that rabbit droppings make an ideal primitive jbl 7 ball like fert . havent tried it (i have the jbl balls) has ane1 else tried rabbit droppings?

if u use silicone airline drill a hole in the top of the lid with a drill bit that just fits inside the tubing without having to force it on there 2 much (also leave the blue plastic bit under the lid and drill thru this) cut the end of the airline on a massive angle and poke the fine end thru then pull it thru with pliers . this makes a nice neat gas tight seal better and easier than using silicone

cool thats awesome i will leave the big 1 out and the other 2 under the water mite have 2 get some more flourish XL (i havent used it in months) that should get it going
