Will Donna your disaster is way worse than mine,poor thing.And i want your turtles,but cant.I might get a Lotto ticket.If gorge was nice i would have room.I hope you dont have to share your bath for much longer,i love my bath on a cold night.Hopfully the insurance pays out soon.Will they replace your tank?.My insurance covers animal disaster must check with mine to see if they would replace tanks.Maybe some one in your area could lend you one.Post tank wanted on here,and who knows some one might have one not in use.Good luck wish i could be of more help.

I would do weekly water changes.Starting now.Some thing is not right,if she is dashing around like that,and gulping air.Are you sure the barbs are not chasing her,i have heard they can be nippy.Have you tested your nitrates .Try the water change first,and see if she calms down.

Thanks for that,I will make sure i get one.Nothing worst than a soggy carpet this time of year.Turtles were fine i dont have them in the tank when i do a water change.This was my third time,i thought i had it secure.

What a disaster,water big puddles on my carpet cant believe i have done it again.Thought i would give the turtles a big water change so i used the hose,clipped it to the side of the tank and turned the hose on.Hose on the floor when i came back in.All my towels that i dryed this morning are now on the floor,soaking up the puddles.What a stinking day :evil:

I dont know if its the same as discribe.Its not jelly like.They are eatting,not thin or hanging by their selfs.The poo is long normal colour three to four inches long with a long skinny thread attatched to it that is white,almost like a hair.

Its not nice getting caught by your ten yr daughter.They were swimming right by there mouths.How dumb is that.I think shrimps will stand a good chance of surviving.If i can get them from a stream,all the better.

Can you use dog worming pill's you can what brand i have heard about it but i thought i better check it out.

Bolivians are a lot smaller than keyholes,and don't produce as much waste.Two foot is fine for dwarfs not for Keyholes.

Hi i rang my daughter inlaw today got their tramp off trademe for three hundred and fifty 10ft The net unzips if you want him to jump out,just thought i would state that,so he can still do stunts.IF wanted the whole net can be taken off.She will get back to me tonight as to name of place as she will look up her trademe account.Dont let us put you off with our story's he will have a ball,and you cant go wrong with buying these safe as.We had a rule with ours.Only two jumping at a time.

Yes it is a shame to lose a breed of fish or any species once you have them in the country some times think its like a fashion statement blacks were in then albinos now its golds oxolot.Not every body is like that forturily.There are people who still want to preserve a species And good on you.

My son brought one for his children for Christmas's grand children are four and six.the one with the net are great and safe.I will ring tomorrow and find out what brand,how much,and where they brought theirs from,They have had adults and children bouncing against the net and no rips,still like new

Hi you will only have the same problem later why dont you sell off the babies,and use that money to buy another tank,so next time you have more holding space.Just a thought.

Now you tell me :lol: They get shrimps,guppys,platys,worms,beef heart,veges they don't like their veges have tried to get them to eat greens they won't got turtle gammarus as it has lots of goodies in it.You would think they would be greatful.Have not tried mussel's don't know if i could share with them,i like them to.What a wast of money i could have brought another fish i will put them in the whizz and feed to my fish.

My turtles are fussy eater's really......with them brought them.big container of nutrafin turtle gammarus pellets not cheap and they wont touch it.I have starved them for four days and still wont eat them.My fish love it crushed.What do your turtles eat?.
