I have just breed dwarfs about four weeks ago, for the first time. They are doing well. I found haveing inforesoria and micro worms a must and on tap.Keeping tank coved in glad wrap.,One thing i did wrong was not haveing another tank ready. They grow at different rate, so the bigger one need to be taking out, otherwise they eat the small ones.Now also giving a speck of crush flakes.Good luck in breeding them. Hope this helps

I might not have together in order, and how far do you fill canister up theres no mark. I pulled it apart to clean .I put white pad and bag of charcol in one tray then noodles in other in last tray white pad and green pad then top tray. How do you bleed the pipe. this came with turtles i brought. Iwas told to put water in pipes. hetold me it would take a few trys.Ithought peice of cake, gee was i wrong. Thanks Theresa

I. phoned the zoo, and they were very helpful.Im no longer worried about worms.the womans name is Karenm she helped me out a lot. this is Wellington zoo. Ihave had help from them before and found they .are more than welling to take the time. YOU WERE RIGHT ABOUT WORMS . Thanks Theresa

Hi no not tubifex worms use to collect them., and not from over feeding. Im hoping its not some parasite from turtle. will ring zoo tomorrow they are good with things like this. they have more knowlege as they are trained in this.Im not. but thanks im grateful for the help.This site is great you can learn a lot

I just use a .sauce punnet poke holes in it, put fruit in and close lid. Leave on windows, give it a week or less and bugs you will have.Hope that helps

Hi my.lovely female turtle has bitten her partners foot, not that i blame her as he keeps wanting a ride .What can i put on it, plasters are not an option.

I have been watching for a whjle and thought it time to say hello.Ihad fish years ago. and thought i would start up again.At the moment i have kribs GBAS,clown loches,guppys and Dwarf gourmis who have bred and babies are two weeks old. and turtles and enjoy coming on here.

I brought two full grown red ear turtles two days ago. When cleaning i noticed white worms swimming in tank, they are about two inches in size and smaller as thin as a hair and swim in a wigling motion turtles healthy.Does any one know what these are, and how to get rid of them.Thanks
