Female cockateils have white dots under their flight feathers.Males dont.

My ten year old has a hand tamed cockatiel,we dont have its wings clipped and would never get another one.The friendship that they have is special.They share cereal in the mornning together watch tv,this bird follows her around.And it talks,copys the phone.And to tell you the truth drives me crazy.Its spoilt.I was told if you want to keep them friendly only keep the one.

Im 50 i have three grown up children and a ten year old who i have had since nine months old and love to pieces.and five grandchildren.I love animals,and im always a sucker for taking the unwanted ones.I have a dog cat rat bird and fish turtles.Im fairly new to the computer,computer dumb to tell the truth.And nutty to the core.

Hi i have loaches and find wunder tonic to be great,but at the same time i up temp.I have also used tonic salt in tank and have not had a problem.Mine use to fight,but i now have pleanty hideing places its not a problem.good luck

Hi i would say its a defect,and if you have just brought it.Take it back,even if it is a bug.I just read your post again.Sounds like more than one fish involed.

Hi my husband and i use to breed birds,a great hobby.It would depend how big you wanted to go.One of those little sheds is a cheap way to get started,and just add the flight area.You can have cockitels budgies canarys ground birds.Love birds are nice,and you can put toys in for them,great to watch and lot of colour,but can pick on smaller birds when breeding.Or you can buy one of the one you can move around.You can have them in Wellington just make sure they are sheltered

I keep my gouramis between 6.8 and 7.0 in this they are happy and breed well.They like a low ph but not that low.Im not sure what you could use to bring it up,some one on here will know.drift wood can lower your ph.I hope you did not get those fish till you have sorted it out.mumzy50

Try egg yolk,just a couple of drops where they seem to gather.micro worms are great.Good on you.Keep us posted.mumzy50

You would have thought she would have learnt by now.At the moment shes drinking lots of water,and in and out.I fought it would make her sick.Her ribs and gut are bulging.If she had been starved in her life i would have been more understanding.Fat pig.mumzy50

mitzy bake your own.The worse part is i didnt even get any.That fat b b b is sleeping it off on the couch.I bet tonight she will be in and out with a sore stomach.Just as will i love her,she might not have been so lucky.mumzy50

I think feeding wont be a problem,but i would worry more about water changes.Five weeks seems a long time.What sort of filter do you have?.How many fish do you have in your 130L tank.mumzy50

Yesterday i baked a whole oven tray of date crumble,as i had the grandchildren comming for the weekend,and they eat and eat as chidren do.I left it on the bench with a towel coveing it.Took some for Mitzy little boy.Will i came home with the intentions of putting it away.My lovely dog had pulled it off the bench and eaten the lot.Shes old and has trouble with her back legs,my bench is high,but that didnt stop her.Mind you i had a few choice words for her. mumzy50

The ones ive rung are rubbish,they con you in to buying a cd of how its done,showing people that they claim have made mega bucks,and are living so well,only working a few hours a day.A lot of the time they will till you,they only need a small investment to set you up.Watch out a few out there are only cons.Check and check again.Good luck. mumzy50

It saddens me to think that somebody could do that to an animal,any animal.There are some sick people around.Those poor creatures,had a horrible death.I hope they get caught and their punishment fit the crime. mumzy50

Hi let me know how you get on with them,i have a pair,that im giving to my daughter as im not interested in breeding them at this stage.To busy with gouramis turtles,and bits and pieces.Good luck mumzy50

Hi i cleaned mine with janola,plants as will.You have to make sure you rinse every thing will.All my new plants i get i do the same,but just a third of a cup to ten L bucket for ten min.Then soak plant for the same in fresh water.Make sure you rinse will.There is some thing you can buy but dont know the name,its not as strong.Some body on here will know.mumzy50
