Hi the turtle spends allday out side,comes in at night.I have a alamp for at night to dry him out.Was told as he spends all day out side i dont need a lamp for him, till winter.I will be getting one in a couple of weeks.as it will get to cold for him.Will take him to vet neek week to get him checked.Not looking forward to that bill.I have heard they are quite dear when dealing with turtles.

Sorry no pictures as i have no camera.Iput it out side all day.It sun bathe for first time today.I am worried some of pitting looks rough.But it has a nice sheen to the to the unpitted parts which was not there before

Hi i have a red eared slider.I was given this by my sons ex.The turtle is stunted,it was keep in a small tank.No heat lamp,it cant swim.The water was kept clean as far as i know.I have had it about two months.The shell is pitted,it has had one moult since i had it.The shell still has places where it is pitted,and some nice smooth shell which looks nice,no soft parts.I am treating the shell with betadine antiseptic ointment.Any other ideas.It has improved and is happy and full of life

Hi i would just go ahead and do a clean.Ive done it and their fine.I did not know they had had babies,when i done it.They would not have been very old.Their very hardy..At 1cm they should be fine.

Hi first your female.try a water change and up your temp.I am finding the temps are dropping as it gets colder in morning.gouramis can handle higher temps.The only thing i can think of is they are eating them.Take mum out as soon as she has finished.Take dad out next day before free swimming,i dont know how that will work,never tried it.But if your water level is low,it might be worth a try.Good Luck.

Hi Matt im new to breeding dwarf gouramis to, i think you should remove your gravel.Put floating plants in tank,you dont have to cover the whole tank with them.Sponge filter is fine.I have mine just sending up a few bubbles.I turned it up a little as they got older.I think inforsora is the anwser as will.Maybe you should start up a culture.While you get that going, feed the breeders up so there ready.Good Luck Mumzy50

Hi are you feeding inforsorea.As they are so small i kept them on this for a while.Im still feeding it out,plus micro worms, water fleas and egg yolk. crushed flake.Dont over do the egg yolk or flake.Dont interfare to much with them.I done a small water change at about three weeks, useing an air line tube.Iremoved half a soup bowl of water at same time some dirt from bottem.You will lose some.I thought i had lost heaps,but Mitzy found them up top in plants.Mumzy50

I have dead fish left in tanks.Deformed, over stocked tanks.But people keep buying from them.And every body has a choice.And as long as people buy from them,it will keep happening.Theresa

Like Carl im wondering how are you going to keep them pure with out them interbreeding.If they do what are you going to do with the young..You would not be able to sell them as BNS or GBAS. :.

Hi at the moment im breeding...Dwarf Honey Gouramis. .Guppys..White worms. Micro worms. Hopefully GBA. Kribs,Not sure which way im going to go with my fish yet.

Sorry i got it wrong i read yours then markoshark.And i am sorry i know it can be h.eart braking,when you have spent money and time.Try some thing stronger..But dont give up on these fish.Wait awhile find a breeder whos had them awhile and try again.Good luck

Im sorry about your bad luck with the dwarfs. Im sure its only the imports that are haveing trouble.Dont lose heart over it.I have dwarfs and have not had problems with them. They seem to be hardy.iTS unfair to say they are all like that.I would like to see more people breeding them as they they are a lovely looking fish,

Hi my loaches had itch.Like you i was worried. I was told tonic salt and raise temp to thirty c every day water changes vaccum bottem tank. salt was one table spoon to 20l, i done this for four weeks.Loaches handle salt ok.With every water change i replaced salt.There might be an easer way keep watching.If you have problem go back over old pages. some times its helpful good luck

sounds like your doing well.I would keep feeding as you are, as their only young and brine shrimp.If you feed to much at this stage you will end up with food left on bottem.which will lead to problems..Good luck .

I had my fighter in with angels and they seem ok two days later fighter had no fins had to put it out of its misery

Hi the glad wrapp is great, i put a little hole in it, so i can feed with dropper. My bigger babies from same batch are a bit of a problem as no tank set up for them. so when they get bigger than guppy babies they are put with them. three have gone in so far and two. days have past and they are fine. HERE HOPEING long way to go yet

I hate it, I am haveing insane moment. All day i have fiddle with it. I shove hose up rear end of filter hose, pulled it off under water. It went all of 5mi could see air in hose kicked it tilted it this way and that way. cheaked propilar fine. I think rattling is air. IVE given up going back to useing hose to siphon out turtles for now. had a noth thanks for ideas MUST BE A STINK BRAND
