  7. welcome yogurt, there is a section where you can introduce yourself i think tropical mantis shrimp can't be imported there are nz mantis shrimp, web research bring up different scientific names for them though (Lysiosquilla spinosa), (Squilla armata), (Heterosquilla tricarinata). a thread here on mantis shrimp viewtopic.php?f=5&t=36628&start=0

The massive BTA, bubble tip anenome, i got off Chimera went for a wander under the rocks last week i had changed a halide bulb above the nem as it was getting old, put the move down to the change in light it stayed under the rock and momma maroon started hassling the clarkiis again for their nem about 3 days ago the Bta appeared out the other side of the rock as well, thought yeah its big enough to stretch that far Oceandose came down from auckland and confirmed my suspicions that it looked like it had split turned the rock abit this morning and found there is now 3 BTAs a sad day as i liked the big one

  16. can be a bit of trouble indoors as you need more than one laying box and blueys can dig in to the laying media or if you miss a laying another female can dig them up
  17. don't think endemic is the right word but definitely introduced to new zealand in a few areas, then a 2nd lot introduced a few years later not recorded in the wild in the last 30 plus years saw them in johnny walkers pets in K rd auckland when i was a youngster then in aussie years later, they called them dumpy frogs because of their appearance
