Im trying at the moment to contact a lot from the past and see if/what they have as sometimes people drift away but still keep a spiece going. Another breed looks like it may have gone but all we need is 1 male (as there are about 10 females around) and they will be up and going again. With another breed, I know a guy put down some really old peat and got a trio from it so hopefully they will be on the go again. Ive now changed 2 of my 2fter tanks for 4 1ft tanks so that I can keep another couple of rearer breeds. I actually have 7 spare tanks and another 2 in a few weeks so hope to fill them with endangered breeds When you look at it, 6 months ago, there was only one person that had clowns but now there is probably at least 6 people with them, we just need to keep them spreding and keep people joining so that we can keep an eye on who has what and make sure they dont get too low in numbers I need another 50 tanks I think

Alan From memory, thats all I fed them... probably the odd bit of Mozzie and daphnia but that was there staple diet

every body in business needs and has to pay GST I will often say a job is say $500 plus GST cash... in other words, I need cash or a bank cheque or EFTPOS as Im not prepared to open an account for you... one off jobs and all the checks that we need to do to make sure we are not going to be ripped off make opening an acount simply not worth while. To do a job without including GST is simply not worth the risk and dont forget that all the related costs that go with the job, we have to pay GST on anyway so its just not worth while. I cant comment on this guy but you need to sort things like this out first. If he was doing a tax free job then hes a bluudy idiot and probably over charging to begin with although the cost sounds good to me

Only problem with the bath tubs is that they are a lot harder to hide... they just dont look as good as the concrete tubs

I like the idea of the bottom tank... To have a larger tank with even lift out small fry tanks could be a good idea that is along the idea that Shinal had with her guppy tanks

Ive found that most of my Nothos fight when the peat is in so you may have problems but its certianly worth trying... let me know how you got on

well said Reef People dont seem to realise what it costs for compliancy At the moment in my trade there are people importing saftey glass from overseas and finding that NZ certifaction is needed then asking me to put my name to it.. Nup, Dosnt work that way, I need to feed my family and I earn my wage by selling and installing glass not by signing off some imported stuff that my not conform. WHERE POSSIBLE SUPPORT THE LOCAL STORES AS IF WE DONT, THEY WONT BE HERE IN THE FUTURE

they need to be heated but normally only 22 to 24 cel I feed mine Baby brine shrimp but they will also take and grow well with Micro worms BBS are easy and a great source of kia for them

eggs are the easist way to get them and you hatch them in something like a chineese takeaway container untill they are about say 100 to 12mm long, At that stage you put them into a tank thats bigger to give more room to grow.
