  1. I want a snail tank now 0.0.
  2. have you tried darkening the tank? Give them a day or so of that, see what happens
  3. Couple of questions about my filtration: Am i best to use a single external Canister (404), or am I better off also using a small internal filter to boost the waterflow? Any ideas on other plants would be helpful, i'm looking for a little bit more colour - reds would be nice, and pref. hardy plants as i'm inclined to beat them up a little bit
  4. Don't suppose you know where I could get any freshwater bullys around auckland would you? Also, are there any native plants that would work in this kind of setup?
  5. if they are acclimatised, apparently. Usual story, they will "live" but they won't thrive.
  6. my room dosen't get very warm so that won't be a problem
  7. This is what i'm thinking: 10x WCMMs 3x Odessea Barbs 1x Crayfish. Are the WCMMs going to be fast enough to escape, or will they get eated? Same deal with the Odesseas
  8. possibly get a breeding net to put them into.
  9. i have loaches, so i'm sure that they will begone
  10. go to google and type in "29 inches to cm" (73.5x38x38) Basically its a 2foot tank 106L
  11. Is it advisable to teach your fish to handfeed? Any ideas for/against. And if you handfeed your fish, what do you handfeed them, how often you handfeed, and how you taught them
  12. Carbon does remove odor from tanks. However, if your room is smelling that badly, are you sure that your tank ain't leaking somewhere? No fish have jumped out?
  13. i've got 3 internal filters running on that tank and currently doing 50% waterchanges every couple of days. Dammed messy fish
  14. The list is correct. I'm still wondering what the heck was banned from the list.
  15. alge bloom could be because the new filter isn't cycled fully, i'd suggest running both filters for a few weeks, to let the new one build up bacteria.
  16. .. An Oscar, it would DEFINATELY mix things "well" 4 Blue Rams?
  17. Well, i've got my Oscar, he will be living in my 3foot solo for about 6 months, until I get a larger tank for him lol Currently, in my 2foot isolation tank, and, i've got him handfeeding already (yay!). Still a little bit hidey, but comes out the front for a look whenever someone walks past the tank Also, I didnt buy the dominant Oscar in the tank because I was worried what it would do later
