  4. Try and handfeed them bloodworm outside their cave, and slowly move it further away each night. Then they get used to the entire tank Way cool
  5. I have it to automatically resize 1024*768, so i'll re-upload smaller versions. How many GBAs should I have in a tank of that size? 4? 6? Over the last week, the alge in my 3foot tank has EXPLODED.
  6. Around the post, they should possibly have increased the height of the concrete to above the water level, which probably would have worked? From memory, the wood just goes straight to the bottom of the pond?"
  7. ocean Blue or black background?

  9. Quite often, when you buy fish, especially highly string ones (eg, tailed black sharks, which have a "rep", Discus & Oscars that "sulk"), they can at times take a little while to get used to your tank. I'd suggest leaving all the lights off for 24 hours, and trying to reduce noise near the tank, and not feeding. (my discus took 2 weeks before they started to come out from behind the plants at the very back of my tank ) Unless the fish is ill, perhaps someone else here can give you a hand...
  10. Is it possible to put a couple of frogs in the tank as well? Floating platform thingy, or will they eat my fish?
  11. Tonight And I think i have a faulty CF1200 AquaOne filter, dammed thing spills water if you tip it sligtly
  12. i'm going to need a stool to reach the bottom of the tank
  13. So. My tank arrived tonight (Yesterday), depending on when you went to sleep. I think i've bitten off more than I can chew. The tank DOMINATES my room, its awesome, the way i'm going, i'll be wall-to-wall fish very quickly (Thats a good thing, right..?) Final dimensions: 130cmx45cmx60cm (LWH) I'll put up pictures as I get it up and running
  14. thats what he meant, $150 for everything but the tubes
  15. Very confused. Can't decide what to go for. Either: 2foot Freshwater Community tank :- Crayfish, few bullys, couple of freshwater mussels. Few plants. OR: 2foot Marine Tank. Soft corals, & Anenomies, couple of shrimp, seahorse & perhaps some little fish. Clown? I'd need to buy all equip for the marine tank ofc, and there is no way that i'd be able to run a sump on it, but i would have room for a HOB skimmer, and because of the prices, i'd be able to cook the rocks for a while. Any ideas on equipment for either tank would be muchly appreciated
  16. I'm going to be running a 3foot T8 unit on a 1.3m x 60 deep tank until I can afford some T5s lol >.
  17. It could be the starter as well.
  18. There are a couple of 4foot 4bulb fittings on TM, but I can't afford to pay 800 bucks for one
  19. Apparently the GLO T5 4foot units are backordered, but on my 3foot I have an aqua-one, and find that its fine.
