  1. not sure if this has anything to do with this thread, but I was in the mentioned franchise the other day in East Tamaki in auckland and they had a large Pacu swimming around in their large display tank with oscars etc.... might be coensidence
  2. I cant remember where it was to but I got an invite through the herp society to do something similiar lately, just couldn't get the time off to go, would be an awesome thing to do by the look and sound of it any more pics?
  3. butterfly creek is awesome, ciclid tank, frogs, blue tongue and of course the butterflies :bounce:

  5. That one has been up for a little while, turtle looks quite young as well. good spotting though. i wouldnt like to be the person if they try to sell it, just hope they don't try to sell it to me as I am looking for a female at the moment Mark what size was your female, any markings?

  9. for some reason they still need a permit, it is illegal to keep them without one.
  10. you need to get a permit, keep trying to get hold of your local DOC to find out what requirements they have in your region.

  12. nice frogs, oh I wish I could get some albinos, i'll just have to add them to my wish list your lucky finding them in the wild, seems to be a few being found at the moment, wonder why they are all popping up now or have they always been around?

  16. terrence, to get a permit there is a small fee, you need to build an outside enclosure and get the all clear from doc check out the link for more info www.reptiles.org.nz
  17. blue tongues $300 - $400 babies waterdragons $300 babies inland bearded dragon $350 - $700 babies most others $1000.00 plus or get a native permit and keep natives which you get free off other permit holders. be careful though once you start its hard to stop :bounce:
