  1. yeah really good for the boy, we have a water bucket to stand in before we go on the carpet

  4. looks more like a beardie setup. you did a real good job though looks awesome bulldogod - ive got sand and it seems good, beardie runs round and digs heaps of holes, the pooo is easy to scoop out because it dries up.

  6. I just got a southern bell frog from a lfs, it was in with a few aureas, dont see them in Auckland for sale much, do many people keep them "southern bell" type, the shop guys didnt even know it was not an aurea. im now on the look out for more, anyone got some?
  7. Yeah Mark, I remember seeing a bluey in with your beardies, I have just got a pair and have that big enclosure but just not sure weather to mix them.

  10. bulldogod, up near Warkworth, wait a couple of months for it to warm up and everything is out, i'll be going up in November if you want a free ride, it would be good to go up with others of the same ilk, normally take the family but they're not too interested, let me know if your keen. I made the mistake of going up last winter, wondered why not much out....doh
  11. what breed does welly zoo have? I was at auckland zoo recently and it looked like they had two pairs of Galapolas torts, and the leopard torts with babies.
  12. yeah I can see timber can be better, I had a few scares moving my beardie glass enclosure, but I dont think I could have made one out of timber cheaper, that looks as good.
  13. hermans and greek are the most common I think. the tortoises will win the poll because you cant get any. :bounce:
  14. Yep they're good like that, there must be a few single tortoises that could be paired for breeding and then sent back home, anybody out there got a lonely tort in need of some loving?

  16. nice lookin enclosure, make sure you post pics as it comes along, what sort of price for the materials, thought you might go all glass?
  17. yeah I am going to make one soon to hold all the lights etc, will have mesh inserts in the sides and also mesh on top.
  18. hadnt you just shot a ferrett last rime I was down there Mark?
  19. could always take one of the doors out and put mesh in or drill a couple of holes in the sides for mesh if need be.

  21. yeah female been giving him a real hard time!!! :lol: Am putting him on a serious diet soon!! C FOOD DIET and David R, its 1800 x 800 x 800 - takes up half the dining room hey Mark you offering your Red Male, he would look great in there!!!!
