  1. Depends what American you are talking about. Same goes with the Africans. Americans go from a few CM in size to a few feet, vice versa with africans
  2. Have you gone to look what you can buy for $200? You will see there is a huge variety. Its like saying I want a fish for under $10. There is a lot to choose from. Be a bit specific. What is the age of the person you are buying for? What sort of photos do they want to take? ie is it for facebook photos? sports photos? at the beach? Do they want big zoom? Does it need to be water proof? I recommend Panasonic and Canon. Sony and Samsung are also quite good brands. As I said above it depends on what features you are looking for.
  3. Thanks guys There were heaps of pukes out and about with babies. I got a few photos with babies but I was not happy how they came out
  4. LOL, Yeah I studied snail reproduction in Biology at school many years ago. Quite different. Stab your lover and run. LOL
  5. Sorry Mods, Going a bit off topic. Have taken to PMs
  6. Photoshop? Gimp? Gimp is free to download and use, http://www.gimp.org/ I use Photoshop
  7. Nice photo ID What Post Production software you have? I took this a few weeks ago. I like how the Duckweed mixes with the Azolla
  8. I was given 3 or 4 Furcatus Rainbows from HFF a few years back as they had bent spines( I was buying some anyway and was asked if I wanted the deformed ones as they were going to be fed to the oscar). They looked real ugly but I thought what the hell, I will take them for my planted tank. I fed them up on lots of live foods and within two months they became unbent. Infact I couldnt tell the difference from the healthy ones. I agree, I do not feed my fish only flake/crumble. I will feed fresh live food whenever possible and frozen if fresh is not available.
  9. Sorry late reply but I know one place in Palmy that exaggerates the water quality as they also sell "spring water". What better way to make money than to scare the novice fish keepers into buying some roof water.
  10. Awesome, thats about all those pools are good for anyway
  11. Yep, Its the next model, KDL40EX500 that has 100hz Motion Flow
  12. Get off your butt and come see me at my work boy.
  13. I drink Jager And no not a car, I like Toyotas, It kinda not a cool name :nilly: Its just that I hear names and they remind me of people I dislike or know. I realise that no one can decide for me but I just want ideas. Dylan is one I also like, It kind is good too as it is a Welsh name and I am half Welsh myself.
  14. Yes Its a Boy. The girls names we decided on was either Emma or Emily. I also like Jennifer and Annika, just to name a few. Dammit, I have never watched or read Twilight. That never occured to me.
  15. Why are they so hard to choose? I can think of several girls names I like but do you think I can think of a boys name I like. Does anyone have any suggestions? I dont want a plain common name but I also do not want a name so different that he will be made fun of. I do like the names Devin and Jacob but that is about where I get stuck. Give me ideas people, pleeeeease
  16. Awesome Matt I can see a thread starting soon. You wont regret the camera, just need to get you to turn the dial off auto and get creative with it. LOL What lenses/lens did you get?
  17. Brand new, just came out in NZ last month. I have seen it in the camera shop on the Square in PN.
  18. http://www.canon.co.jp/imaging/enjoydslr/part1/1B.html That is a good site that explains how and what about DSLR cameras. It is a canon site but it is the same for all brands. I have trouble putting in words the way a lens works, I find it easy to talk about but not writing it down.
  19. Hi Mel Long time no see You can train it to stay low by cutting the surface leaves off as they shoot for the surface. The brighter the light the lower it will grow. HTH
  20. Its not as simple as you suggest Dennis. As the name suggests, storm water systems are needed to cope with "storm water". This means covering or using a finer grill will create problems during times of heavy water. People will always take the easy option. The idea of labeling the drains is to jog memories and make people think. Much the same as the signs around the roads that says "speed kills" . You will be surprised at how many people belive drains are a magical way to dispose of stuff. Not just rubbish but chemicals etc.
