  1. I am looking for this card game. I used to own it but I have no idea where it went to. It is not cheap and unfortunately it is not found on that famous NZ trading site. If someone can advise where I can find this I would be very happy. For those wondering what it is see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grass_%28card_game%29 It is a very addictive game to play and when I did have it me and my mats would be up all night playing it.
  2. Not very natural looking , but for when you are renting it is easy to move. I have hundreds of WCMM in there at the moment. I started with four.
  3. I have some that Ryan gave me before he left for the big smoke. They are still small and I have not yet attempted to seperate them and breed them. As Ryan said, Wetpets do have some occasionally but I fount they only ever seemed to have on sex at a time and they were very expensive. I will let you know when I have some available.
  4. We have people who travel from Wellington to our meetings. I travel from Wanganui which is an hour away. If you start walking now you would be there by the time the meeting starts, LOL Just Joking
  5. Are these guys easy to breed in captivity? May have to find a male for my female and see what happens.
  6. Amano's Tank is one of my dream tanks http://www.blueaquarium.org/2007/12/ama ... onal-tank/ See link for build photos
  7. So, basically Alan, That means that when the water in your local swimming pool is hurting your eyes it means its because someone is pissing in the water??? I knew there was a reason I dont swim in pools.
  8. I believe that Excel is light sensitive. I may be wrong but I avoid keeping any of my ferts etc in clear containers.
  9. Just post the above URL into image tabs like any photo Like that. Cool pics I miss my Koura
  10. Not really if you know where to look. I went for a walk in the bush the other day and within an small area about the size of a quater acre section I found about half a dozen of them. Mine has turned into a hermit. He wont come out till I am not looking.
  11. CO2 is awesome, BUT what type of light do you have? How much light?, What sort of Ferts are you using? What are the tank dimensions? It takes more than just adding CO2 to get your plants to grow. See here viewtopic.php?f=2&t=48813
  12. I feed colour bits and Hikari Cichlid Gold Sinking as a staple. I also feed Bloodworms, Shelled Peas, chopped garden worms, shrimp pieces etc.

    Leeches

Your game Robyn. I would go near that thing. I thought the only leeches we had in NZ were plant suckers. Maybe it is some sort of maggot.
  14. Just like humans, some snails too like the Gypsy lifestyle and live in mobile homes
  15. Retrospialis likes different conditions to most Crypts. They like hard water and they are very slow growers. I guarantee you will continue to find Duckweed over the next few weeks and wonder where the hell it is coming from. Its a long term battle, LOL
  16. Thanks, Not Taxodium, they are Pinus radiata. The forest just received an extraordinary amount of rain over the last few months. Some of the trees have started to die from being waterlogged.
  17. 14 running here plus 2 small ponds. I have various other tanks that are used for holding and breeding that are not being used at the moment as I am trying to cut down.
  18. That is correct Ira They lay their eggs in the leaf litter and the caterpillar crawls up a tree and burrows into the trunk. It will live there for up to 6-7 years eating the stuff secreted from the wound of the tree. Then once it is ready it will emerge in springtime and become the moth we see in the pictures. They have no mouthparts and live for only a few days. They are a very pretty moth.
  19. I spotted it in the leaf litter while walking. In my hand
  20. I went for a hike today and found myself a Moth too  Will post a pic when I get round to it. It is not as green as yous Matt
