Wierd!
Before you got them they were in a 30L tank and they got water changes straight from the tap. No conditioner no temp adjusting. They bred for me several times but I just left the fry and they got eaten.
Hi
What sized tank are you after?
There is not much of a selection in Wanganui but the pet store will order stuff for you if you ask. Quite reasonable with the price too.
As Ryan said, I am a bit of a plant enthusiast myself. Here is my blog www.supasi.wordpress.com
its a bit neglected recently but has some of my stuff in it.
While all you guys worry about the END, I am going outside to enjoy the sunshine.
What are you gonna do if it does happen? Thats right nothing you can do.
Why worry about something you dont have control over. Enjoy life and get on with it.
Usually once a day, but will go for a few days every so often without feeding. If I have fry then its up to 5 times a day but thats how fry go.
I feed different food everyday so they get some variety.
You have not mentioned the lighting you are using and what sort of plants you are intending on growing.
If you choose to use CO2 you are best to turn that airline of during lighting period as it will speed the rate of CO2 loss.
I have been growing it emersed Alan.
I am collecting images at this point in time and my findings will be posted when complete
Got any other pics of that Uraguyensis Alan?
Tell us a bit about your tank and we can then suggest best options for you.
CO2 is useless to a fish tank unless all other necessary requirements are met regarding light, nutrients etc.

The thing with IT products is they are superseded so fast.
Your prob going to have to face it that you will not get what you want for it unless it is something rare or current.
Same goes with TV's etc. The technology changes so fast that no one really wants old models.
You may be lucky to find someone willing to pay what you want but the looking for that someone can be frustrating.
Come on people.
Surely someone out there has plants that they can take photos of.
You dont have to post them up here, just click the email icon at the bottom of my posts and I will do the rest.
We need pics of
Cabomba
Submersed indian fern
Twisted Val
Oxygen weed (Elodea canadensis)

Joe, its a cold water plant that needs good light. It is more a marginal but will grow submersed for periods of time and is a native of NZ and Australia. Go for a walk around streams and ditches and you will prob find some. It is commonly known as Water Butttercup
