This (the KDL40W4000 to be exact) is what we got back in August, and with a Sony home theatre system too.. its awesome. But beware builtin freeview is the digital one I believe, which as it turns out, is not available for everyone. Yet. :roll: But you're in Auckland so its all good for you. I love the fact that it has multiple plugs things, we currently have plugged in a DVD Recorder, the Sony home theatre system through the HDMI and the PS2 all plugged into the tv at once,. No changing of plugs required! YAY!

yeah what Stella said. Definitely learn about cycling an aquarium. I assume this is an Aqua One or similar type set up?? How big is the tank ? And what fish did you get? If it is an Aqua One and if you think the fish are struggling against the flow that the filter is generating then if possible turn the outlet pipe to face the glass of the tank. That should help. But we do need more information to be able to help you further.

Haven't we already done New Year '08?? We are at this stage, going to a little place called Te Wae Wae Bay with a couple of friends. There is nothing but a couple of huts and the sea there. No power, no cellphone coverage.. could be interesting.

Thats what we thought too Caryl.. although it was very nice in the end and I can appreciate that they wanted to keep it for historical reasons. We live in a 97 year old villa and I like to think about all the history this house might have. I know a few interesting things about it. I too was wondering where they were going to put the aquarium, I started thinking that an aquarium would have been quite out of place and it was going to be an odd addition, considering that they were trying to keep the castle as original as possible.

IMO.. thats a lot of fish for such a small tank.. and you have "cut down" the feedings to twice a day?? That could have been your problem. I feed my fish once every couple of days.

My Zebra Loaches do it too. Apparently its quite normal. No idea how they do it either. I did google but came up with nothing. I did however find out that they click because they are content. So I guess thats a good thing.

As per usual, our office closes for the Stat days only. But I'm taking annual leave between Christmas/New Year and a week after New Year. We have to work right up till 5:00pm on Christmas Eve though. No knocking off at 12:00pm for drinks and a BBQ like my truck driver husband gets to.

What is everyone doing on Christmas Day or is it just another stat holiday for you? We are probably doing the same thing we do every year - Christmas lunch at my parents place. I think we are then spending Boxing Day with some of his family for a bbq. Who will you be with? For the lunch my parents and probably my brother and of course my husband. Where? Invercargill Does your family have any special Christmas traditions? My parents probably still go to the midnight service on Christmas Eve and then church on Christmas morning, but my husband and I don't. What did you ask Santa for? I haven't asked Santa for anything. I'd just like to add that this is the first year ever I have made my own Christmas cake. I cooked it yesterday and going to ice it today.

OMG!! The most hilarious thing happened.. I ended up accidentally killing my magic breed fish, and only had two types of cheap fish left and no $$'s so I was just being silly, i cranked up the price of the spined spotanus (which has a default price of $5.00). I clicked a bunch of zero's on the end then went to the store to see if I could sell any, I went away from the computer for about 3 mins came back and 2 had sold!! Suckers! now I have gazillions of dollars!!!! :lol:

I've managed to get two magic fish in separate games. I got one today at work.. called yellow canary something but unfortunately.. it happened as I was doing the fast forward thingy so it kinda ended up fast forward dying .. :oops: I still have one alive at home I think its called a Greenfin Spotanus??

Ooh thats a good tip Ira. Damnit, I can't mess with the time on the work computer though! Edit: yes I can !!! And I don't even need to close the game.

Silly thing is that the game runs in real time, so even if you close it down, it still progresses and when you come back whenever to continue.. all fishys are dead. So if you can leave your computer on, you can go into the options and Pause it. I've discovered however, that you cannot pause it then shut it down. I think you have to leave it running.

Hahaha tis very addictive. I left my game at home going all night, paused. Only cos I managed to some how create one of the 7 magic breeds. I'm at work now and playing another game (while still working of course!!)

Are you dragging them into the isolation box?? Above where it says how much cash you have? You put one fish in there then drag another, magically the one that you first put in the box will be "pregnant" Or.. they are not old enough to breed? They have to be 20 (days months years I don't know) to breed.

I think if you download the demo its time limited. But not when you play it online, although some of the features are not available. And yes I agree spoon, would be better if it was more realistic.
