thanks how exactly do I get him to flare? Put a mirror in there? lol, forgive me, I want to try breed them as Ive successfully bred angels but dont know much about them. Like, do I breed delta to delta or can you breed different types together?

No1 - I never knew there were ghost shrimp there! And Ive lived here all my life! I used to go "cockabillying" at that river when I was younger. Used to lay on that rock that juts out a bit (sth of bridge) and hold a plastic shopping bag under the water until they went in, then yanked them out! lol. Random! No2 - You have seahorses?? Do you need a licence or something for those? N03 - So the shrimp they sell at animates in with all the freshwater tropical fish arent supposed to be in there? Why the hell do petshops misguide people so much!!! I have bumblebee gobies in freshwater. Had them for 9+months. bought them as 'freshwater' and they have been living in my freshwater tank happy as. Wierd.

would these be okay with a ghost knife? Am setting up a new tank and want some wierd and wonderful fish for it also wheres the best place in chch to get shrimp?

hi, one of my young discus has gotten quite dark and swims funny occassionally. Like wobbles around almost like hes drunk. Then a few hours later he appears normal only to go dark and drunk again. Does this mean he needs to be wormed? If so how do I go about this? I do daily water changes and my other discus same age same batch seems to be growing bigger faster and doing well. I did have 3 but one died a week after I got him and it started exactly the same way as this one is heading?????

Hi guys, Im quite excited, I finally got a hold of some "white sand" in the weekend. I know its already been done but its going to be a first time for me! I have 2 tanks spare at the moment! A little square 54litre one and a 65litre aqua one. They are both quite small but Im thinking of either doing a planted 'nano type' in the 54 and a wicked planted out aquascape in the 65. Not sure which of my fish I'll put in there yet. We are moving in a couple of months so dont want to get too complicated. However Ive decided to buy a bigger feature/display tank when we settle in at the new place!!!!!!! I CANT WAIT FOR THAT!!!! Mts - already have 5 tanks. Another one wont hurt :oops: Anyway Ive decided to do a 'before and after' sequence since so many others have done so on here and I find them very interesting to look at! So keep watching this space! x ps - man you buy a lot of fish dixon!!! I see you bidding on almost every fish auction I look at on that site!

thanks, i do feel more sad about the loss of this fish because of all i did to try help him. Thank you for all your help and support though! Now at least i have the meds on hand in case anything were to happen in the future!
